Clearly, the best way to Luigify Falco is to give him multiple jumps, since he's a bird.

Makes sense, right?
And then give him pit's up B from brawl.

Everything in life makes sense now

The PM envornioment is no where near the same as the one in brawl. Here is the stats of the brawl falco down B:

Hits on frame: 4 – 6 at least (that is very slow and you will get grabbed for days.)
Shield hit lag: 0
Shield stun: 9
Advantage: -34 frames (EXTREMELY punishable, ESPECIALLY IN PM, you will die for using this)
Total: 51 you ain't shining ****

What makes YOU think, it would be any good at all? Because I just don't see it, at all.
And that isn't something that can be adjusted or changed like everything else in this game (framewise)? Make it come out faster and the ending lag being reduced and what not? Or buff the move to the point where the reward meets the risk? I'm no hacker, but I would assume that that's possible, given the other stuff that was adjusted in this game.
And obviously, this would NOT be a move to shine with. So for that reason, I wouldn't put on the space animals that I wanted to shine. That was why I said on another hypothetical character.

Well of course, much like many other of the Brawl moves carried over, it would be edited to fit the environment better. most likely faster and who knows, maybe an unusual jump cancel effect. Can't just jump on and assume it won't work since we have no idea what it would really do, unless someone makes it happen.

Well clearly, just like all the other Brawl moves ported over to PM, it would be edited to fit the game better. =/ Most likely given better tools then it originally had.

There would be so much Butthurt, I know. I was even slightly butt hurt when they nerfed them x] But its whatever.
But Falco seems to be the only real clone left. Toon Link has been further separated from link, and Ganon.. Well I guess he still suffers a little bit of it.
There's no such thing as a clone in this game.

I think a distinction could be made between a functional clone and an aesthetic clone. Falco is an aesthetic clone, and while function is obviously much more important than form, it's still nice to have aesthetic differences. There is nothing wrong with liking visual variety. I think giving both space animals their own unique color scheme for their special attacks would be a nice touch.

I fully support Falco getting blue flames on Firebird to match his blue lasers and reflector. I also support making Fox's reflector red for the same reason.

But a red reflector fits Fox perfectly. He's based off of a red fox and his lasers/fire are already red.

I'd actually like to see Wolf's reflector be made a different color as well. I think green to match his lasers or even yellow would look cool.

I think Wolf's reflector would look nice with a green color like his laser, or it would be nice to make both is reflector and laser purple, but a Red Fox Reflector would still look weird. I wouldn't really let it bother me though.

Why would changing falco be a bad idea? It'll just make him more unique and badass if they did it right
I spent a long time learning falco, since 2001. This game was a nod towards the melee community, and falco was a heavily favored character in melee. Why should I have to relearn him? If they wanted to give a more individual spacie, they should implement some other character.

Hence Wolf.

It's like I said. Falco isn't going to change. Let's drop it.

I don't think Lite was talking about changing how Falco plays, but rather how a few of his moves look. I personally think that it is totally possible to give him a very similarly functioning F-Smash and F-air, but with him using his arms instead. I don't even think his Brawl F-air beak spin would be a bad option, as long as it remained just as mediocre as his Melee F-air.

Unfortunately, people don't seem to be as open to this idea as me, which is why I'm focusing on changing the colors of their specials instead.

The problem lies in the fact that if it was like that, it would ruin his landing timing on all of those moves, or it would forever suffer looking nasty.

I'm sorry, but there's NO WAY falco flies with those prosthetic legs. THOSE THINGS ARE PURE STEEL.

I find it kinda funny that people say Melee Falco was his own unique character when he was generally just a modified version of 64 Fox.

Not that I don't like him, but still.

Can't we all just agree that Blue Fire Falco/Fire Bird needs to happen? ¦D

Not really fair when you consider every character in Melee's top 8 minus Jigglypuff and Peach are essentially Fox 64. I mean...at least just as Fox 64 as Falco in Melee.
