Lying about my country.
Both Toon Link and Link look pretty darn good in this game. Link especially seems to be most improved, he's very viable and tons of fun to use when compared to his Brawl version.

But I'm honestly sick of maining the same character in every game, so I'm going to be looking for somebody else.

It doesn't look that way to me. at the point that moving her wand moves the lumas and she can use them as meat shields after all, why not, she can just summon another.

There is little separating Rosalina's treatment of the Lumas from Olimar's treatment of his pikmin, and we lal know how that guy. Because it's the same thing.

Did a lot? really now.

She was a side character in SMg, was barely relevant in SMG2, and was playable in 3DW only after the main quest was over. She was not particularly important in any of the spin-offs she got in besides the 3DS Mario PArty (IIRC), and she was only in about 10 games total, maybe a bit more.

For a series as big as mario, that's not nearly enough to justify a smash bros spot for a Mario representative. Compare with the other newcomer we got, bowser Jr: Main villain twice, significant villain in 4 games (including SMGs, where he is more present than Rosalina), and was in about 40 or so spin-offs by now (and frequently is a relevant villain in those, especially Mario Baseball)
There is a lot of seperation between Olimar and Rosalina, you just can't see it even though it's easy to see. Once again she is helping them cause Lumas can't fight and she doesn't use them as meat shields since the Lumas are protecting Rosalina. Also it's a incorrect statement when she can't summon Lumas at all.

She did do a lot that clearly you missed by not looking harder into it. She maybe a side character but she's a important and relevant one since her debut. The amount of games doesn't determine anything. A character is justified in Smash by there big role and importance, which for her is big, and not by amount if games. Bjr. isn't really that relevant since he wasn't a big villain to begin with and is just a bigger side character with little importance after Sunshines arc for him was scraped. His importance in SMG and onward is proof of this since he did absolutely nothing to justify him of being important or doing anything villainous on Bowsers level.

Rosalina is justified in Smash and deserves it on the objectively level regardless whether you think so or not. This isn't ruining her character since it's not even going against it as I've proven.

:4bowser: - From what I've heard he's like one of the best characters. My personal opinion based on footage? He's extremely powerul, like 10 times better than he was in Melee and Brawl.

:4gaw: - ...From what I've heard, he's like one of the worst characters. I've seen footage, and I personally think he's not bad, but I'm hearing very very bad things about G&W from a lot of people (including pros :crying:). That makes me sad. He and Bowser were low tiers in Melee, the latter also being low tier in Brawl, but I still did good with them, so I'm positive I'll do just fine!

:4lucario: - From what I've seen and heard, he looks to be pretty strong. Yay! His specials look very strong this time around because of the new aura mechanic.

:4pikachu: - The only character out of my list I've actually played because demo. Excellent combo game. Kill power and new thunder is... not very good imo. He's not bad, but he's definitely not as good as he was in Brawl. No QAC makes me sad.

:4dk: - Not very sure on this guy. Some say he's strong, but others say he's bad. Based on what I've seen, he looks very similar to Brawl. Brawl DK wasn't bad, so that's pretty neat.

:4rob: - Like Lucario/Bowser, I've heard and seen very good things about him. Loving the new laser, and his edgeguard game looks better than ever... recovery is the same as Brawl, really flippin' good.

Overall, I'm really looking forward to playing my previous mains from previous games. I've loving all their new looks, and even if it turns out they're the absolute worst character in the games, I'll still use and play them. This time around I'm going to try to dedicate myself to one main only, rotating between so much characters at a time is a bit... not good. :p

A lot of people have been saying :4gaw: looks nerfed compared to Brawl, but from what I've seen, he only looks nerfed on a numbers perspective, not even counting his biggest buff: speed. He's so much faster now. I love it.

:4kirby: seems like he's back to not being garbage. FINALLY!

From playing :4mario: in the demo, both he and :4drmario: are looking to be back to Melee levels of speed and fun. :D

:4wario: looks buffed a bunch too. I'll miss his P:M moveset a bit, but I loved his Brawl set anyways.
