Our Home and Native Land: Canadian Threats at Genesis 3

Just North of the American border is the Smash powerhouse country of Canada! The country boasts many top players in all of the Smash games, and they will be bringing some of their best to Genesis 3. Without further ado, here are the top Canadians to look out for at Genesis 3.

SuperBoomFan :falcon64::pikachu64::kirby64: - Arguably the best Smash 64 player in the world and the likely favorite to win Genesis 3. Was very dominant in Smash 64 last year, winning Apex 2015, Super Smash Con, and Hitstun 3.

The Z :fox64::pikachu64::falcon64: - Arguably the second best player in Canada and a multicharacter master.

YBOMBB :jigglypuff64: - The #1 ranked player in Southern Ontario and the top Jigglypuff in the country.

Revan :kirby64::yoshi64: - The top ranked player in Ottawa and one of the best in the country.

Preston :kirby64: - Another top Kirby main who is currently ranked #2 in Ontario.

KirbyKaze :sheikmelee: - Although the longtime #1 player in Canada and creative Sheik main announced his retirement in late 2015, KirbyKaze will have one last hurrah at Genesis 3.

Ryan Ford :foxmelee: - Ryan Ford made his return to the Melee scene last year and he crept his way back up to #2 in Ontario. Recently placed 3rd at SMASH INTENSIFIES 2 over n0ne, DJ Nintendo, and sauc3.

n0ne :falconmelee::ganondorfmelee: - The speedy and flashy FalconDorf main n0ne improved heavily in 2015. He notably placed 3rd at Tipped Off 11, where he beat Colbol, DJ Nintendo, and Professor Pro.

Coffeeblack :falconmelee::jigglypuffmelee: - One of Canada's top Falcons and Puff. Currently ranked #8 in Southern Ontario.

Yakal :foxmelee::falcomelee: - Currently the #2 ranked player in British Columbia behind Blunted_Object.

Ally :4mario: - Currently one of the best Smash 4 players in the world and the best in Canada. With his great consistent results, he is a top 8 favorite for Genesis 3.

Alphicans :4littlemac::4sheik:- The #1 ranked player in Alberta and one of the best Little Mac mains in the world. Got 2nd at Northwest Majors Dropzone next to ZeRo.

Big D :4dedede::4mario:- The #1 ranked player in British Columbia and one of the best King Dedede mains in the world. Got 3rd at Northwest Majors Drop Zone.

Raziek :4robinf: - The top ranked player in Nova Scotia sponsored by SUGOI as well as one of the top Robin mains in the world.

Captain L :4pikachu: - The best Pikachu in Canada and the #2 ranked player in British Columbia.

Firefly :4yoshi: - The top Yoshi in Canada and #5 in British Columbia. Had a deep run at Smash @ Pax Prime.

2ManyCooks :4drmario: - The #2 ranked player in Alberta and the top Doctor Mario main in the country.

Chrim Foish :4diddy: - The #5 ranked player in Ontario and the top Diddy Kong main in Canada.
