Other Various Online Ideas...

You know, Break The Targets, Race To The Finish , event matches, you know the time completed and all that jazz. Maybe some event match multi player games. It would be really cool if when you viewed someone's profile you could see all there event and Break The Targets records. Good idea or not? Only problem is hackers, but that doesn't have to be inevitable. Questions? Comments?

or you could physically race them. like, youd both be on the same screen, but your opponent would be transparent, and you couldnt touch them. also, targets would be half red and half blue if neither of you have broken them, all blue if only you have broken it, and all red if only they have broken it. and they could have a 'status bar' of sorts at the top to show how many targets each of you have broken (or at least how many your opponent has broken).

something similar to this would be cool for all the modes. although in race to the finish, they shouldnt make the other player transparent, so you can attack them, and give slower characters a chance to win. that would be pretty fun. (i know its fun fighting on the race to the finish level with AR...)

That could be the variety of choices to play, and I'm liking the idea. Like Petre said, you could basically try to beat the other player, by either racing them, or seeing who can get the highest score (hrc). Out of all of the ideas for Brawl's online play listed on these forums, I think that this one is the best. It'd also be cool to keep track of your record, like have your own profile to display your scores.

I think petre's ideas about competitive mini-games are great, and if these game modes are done well, they could be another fun and exciting addition to brawl.

Just a question though, if they did actually make, for instance, break-the-targets a competitive game, then would these matches have to be played with two of the same characters or could they create generic courses that any character can complete?

If they did make generic courses, would this be a good idea or even worth the trouble?

Any thoughts? ...

You can only hurt you opponent with poke'mon, and it's always on the poke'mon stadium stage.
MAN I'd kill for an official Online version of that...but I'm just a dreamer.

In what I think IS a possible online game would be adventure mode, co-op.
That would be pretty neat. :D

That sounds pretty cool, and maybe you could be a bit more competivie with it and be able to K.O. your rival, though it doesn't benefit you aside from getting a few preicous seconds of more kills?

I think it would be cool to be able to view peoples profiles online that would show what they've accomplished; but I don't think I like actually playing these minigames online. Doesn't sound appealing, IMO.

Hackers could be a problem, but who cares it doesn't mean we still couldn't have fun. I think most of the ideas that are being posted here are somewhat practical.

I would mostly like to have the main game be it in terms of online. I'd probobly never use fancy spancy mini games and what not.

I would like to see an expansion of the online though. Mario Strikers Charged has some cool features. Striker of the Day is where it highlights the person doing the best for that particular day. Top Smasher would be cool. Plus maybe some online tournaments and what not.

That would suck, you are on a btt roll, and all of a sudden you are against a link at links level >_<

But, if you could hit eachother it would take more than just muscle memory, and that would be really cool, and if you are killed then you have to wait like 6 seconds, where you can still win but if you have a disadvantage..

If they actually ADDED Co-op/Adventure Mode for online, they would have to revamp it somewhat. If they kept it how it was for 1-Player, it would be waaay to easy for two players. Even IF they did that, I don't think it would be very appealing to the

Real Smash Players[UNQUOTE]*rolls eyes*. Personally, I would enjoy that kind of thing every once in a while. It wouldn't be to bad.

You guys are posting excellent ideas, I hoenstly thin we'll be seeing some of this.
