his bike is preety cool i must admit

vote now for which one you like more.....

Warioware.

Looks like an actual separate character, other than a clone like he was original.

Meh. I don't like Warioware, but I also don't really like Wario in general. I know him a bit better in his original form, but I do think his Warioware costume is better, overall.

Simple way to fix this: Make his original outfit an alt costume. Problem solved.

Old wario is the superior one and they should had gone with that one. It will most likely be an alt costume.
Old wario also shows his muscles.

Yeah, I really hope they do that. Still, Wario is representing his game and not the Mario series so it may not be done. :\

That's true. There's actually a really good possibility that they'll just stick to color swaps for most of the characters again. I think I've gotten my hopes too high for alt costumes. :ohwell:

warioware is superior. the old wario looks like a bland color palette swap of mario.

Except for Wario is like what, twice as big as Mario, has more defined muscles, he's usually showing his gigantic teeth, his moustache is thinner and zigzagged, his nose is completely different, his facial features are just more defined in general than Mario's.

Good job dude!

yes, he himself is different, but the old costume is still bland compared to the warioware one.

Im with Mr Underdog. Wario was only cool in the good old days of Wario land. Those games realy ment something.
Im not realy a fan of looking silly on my wii or playing a game full of mini games. Not realy for me.

But I asume that wether wario is imaged on warioware or not. In smash I doubt it will have much effect on his move set. Plus, we can always pray for the orignal wario costume :)

A lot of people have.

I'm thinking that alternate costumes are a genius idea, but I don't know that it'll happen.

I vaguely remember playing Wario Land for my gameboy. That game was alot of fun I remember crushing blocks with his charge move and bowling over enemies. Now I just find Wario to be disgusting. I'm not to fond of the whole "farting thing". An alt costume of the original Wario would be a nice treat though.

So if Luigi got a kooky-crazy costume in some game down the line would you say lose the green pallette swap of Mario's costume?

The very name Wario suggests that he is an inverted evil version of Mario. His original costume looks like that for a reason, cause that's what the character was conceived as.

Not to say I don't like the Warioware costume, just putting it all in perspective. I would not be dissapointed if he had his old costume and not his Warioware one. But I expect that the old costume will make an appearance.

no, the green pallette swap of mario's costume should stay as an alternate option, i just wouldn't use it if he had a more interesting costume.

...okay? i know why he used to have that costume, i'm just saying that if he has a more interesting costume it would make sense to use that one, which i will.

simply put, i was saying that the warioware costume is superior, so i will be using it. i was not saying that the old costume shouldn't be in at all.

So many people dislike the WarioWare games. It's always the people who haven't even tried it. It's one of the funnest new series in a while now. :)

I guess the clothes make the man.
In which case i think this just pushes more to the fact that characters need alternate costumes.

I think he is in that costume becuase Nintendo want's us to know that Wario is not another Mario charrecter like Luigi, he has his own games now, and is kinda in his own series, there for representing his own game, so he wares his games clothing.

When I think of Wario, I think of Mario Land and the Six Golden Coins or whatever it's called, Mario 64 DS, and Wario land 4. He kind of reminded me of my uncle when he's drunk.

Warioware Wario is just...different. He doesn't seem as big and bad, I guess. It's not that I don't like him, it's just that he doesn't seem to match my envisionment of Wario.

I'm sorry but Wario isn't as evil as he used to be in the early 90's. He is just greedy, and goes against Mario only if Mario is in his way of getting treasure & riches. Super Mario Land 2 was the only one where he was truly "Evil" in the Mario series. And of course you can count the Wario's Woods game again as him being evil. But right now, he is the Anti-hero of the Mario games. He appears in nearly all the spin-offs and occasionly gets his own games. Being the most recent one Wario: Master of Disguise (Excluding WarioWare series). In Wario World he was getting his Castle and Money back. He was only being like Bill Gates after he loses his money and gets drunk and with Big muscles. So Wario isn't truly evil in recent times.
