Would anyone else like to see this implemented?

I don't know about inclusion of this in tournaments, I could care less, I don't plan on getting tournament-good any time soon. But just for playing in general?
I would love this option (even if I end up not changing it) if not JUST to shut my brother up when he complains on those few occasions when I choose to take advantage of it after respawn, calling me cheap (even though he tries to do it too, he just cant catch me).

And NOT just a "on/off" toggle option, the ability to set it to a certain number of seconds, even down to tenths of a second, would be nice, because I understand the importance of just being able to regroup for a second, or chase someone from their comfort-zone on certain maps or w/e... or even just to be able to fall to the floor without being aerial'd.

What do you guys think?

The invincibility is still there, but is changed from before. From what I understand, in melee you had 2 seconds of invincibility after leaving your platform and (about 5 seconds?) of invincibility sitting on your cloud platform thing. Basically if you touched nothing after you died you could be unhurt for 7 full seconds. In brawl I believe the 2 seconds starts from when your platform returns, not when you drop down from it. So you have 5 full seconds of sitting on your platform still if you wish, but if you drop down after the first 2 your invincibility will be totally gone.

That method makes a lot of sense, I'm glad they implemented it that way if that is indeed how it works.

Yeah. That's why I had a lot of trouble disconfirming/confirming in my thread. I figured that out based on an E for All video, I think. It was fox. I don't remember but I know it's back but it's also possible to not have it when you land. Logically the 2 or 5 seconds starts being counted once you spawn, not once you land.

I hope you lose invincibility on the platform after a while, it's annowying to see my freinds camping up their as long as they can to avoid being in the four player brawl.
