Noctis from FFXII Versus.

I need some critique, opinions and such.
Like, should i finish the top of his head??
Should I draw his clothes?
Should i just stop here?

I just need some opinions so i can finish this piece up.

Definitely don't stop there, you have a good start. You should definitely follow through with the head and torso. I like the painterly look so far. Those eye reflections are really well done. o_0 Even if you get 'bored' with it, force yourself to finish anyway. It'll help you build up diligence as well as just flatout sharpen your skills. Which will be good for art school. Practice practice practice.

I'd like to see more emphasized lighting and shadows on the face...

Don't forget we have a Critique Topic for stuff at the top of the page! It's been sort of... dead lately.

But seriously, thanks a bunch! Critique and opinions are really needed nowadays if i want to go to art school (too many of my friends are the praise-only types =__=|l|)

Nice art work man. My suggestion would be to add darker tones to the shadows and small lighter tones to the areas where the light is hitting the characters face and hair. That would really make this a lot more dynamic.

Also I never liked Marth's crown so I would just not have him wear one. Although if you like it then you should do it. I suggest you have him wear the white costume, that would look really cool in this. Plus, it goes well with the eyes and hair color.

Really nice picture though.

They have similar hair coloring kinda though
