For the most part, I agree with what you said, but let's face it: Sakurai really doesn't care about the world stage when it comes to the inclusion of content. You know it, and I know it. Hell, I've known this all along, which is actually one of the main reasons why we're going to see a bunch of pseudo fanboys pissing blood here on these forums once it is affirmed that Ridley is not a playable character in Brawl.
I know he said he'd try to consider us (i.e. people other than the Japanese) and our tastes when it comes to such things, but again, the reality of the matter is, Sakurai's human. A human that also happens to be Japanese. He may very well like to not be biased and close-minded, but that's simply not going to happen.
