So do you think that online matches can reflect skill? I'm a good smasher but whenever I go online I can barley win a match. This is mostly due to cheap tactics by other players. I prefer to do one on one matches to test my skill and stocked free for all with level 7-9 computer players. If this does not a good way of doing things, what would be a better way of testing your skill?

It reflect your skills online.

Which means nothing usually considering Wifi is a joke.

Test your skill by playing players that are of equal, or more skill then you.

Its hit or miss.

I've played people that I KNOW are waaaay better than me at the game; online or off.

From what I've experienced... a three stocking online translates to you beating them offline. Not a three stock of course, but a win. The disparity is always a question. The closer the online match is, or- the higher the 'apparant' overall skill of the players, it becomes a bit trickier.

Of course, the obverse is true in many cases as well. Which, sort of defeats my previous argument.

In summation: If you can TELL the person is better than you, it doesnt matter if its online or off. If you aren't for sure, who knows?
