Online Play Crashed My Router

So about 1 month ago I was playing Brawl. I got online then the game said that wi-fi isn't responing. It took me back to the main menu. I tried again but never worked. I was surprised because I got a brand new router 10 days ago. I checked the router and saw that the power icon wasn't green. But all the plugs were all in right but even when I reconnect all wires it never turn on. My computer wasn't on or anything else but the TV. So could online play have crashed my router? I just barely got a new router for Christmas but I'm curious to know what freaking crashed it.

Maybe the router hates brawl ._. . But yea idk why would it do that.
