Hey guys,

I found out a while back that the JP copy of the game was routing data through servers in Dana Point/LA, California (which may have even been routing through JP). People in LA that played had 0 lag.

I'm looking to collect some testimonials of your online matches so far: who you played against, how far they were from you (if you know this), how laggy it was (close to offline play, 1/10th of a second delay, etc), what type of lag was it (input lag or stuttering lag), etc etc. I am going to pick up a copy of the game tomorrow to do the same tests on the US version but testimonials from around the country will help me prove/disprove my ideas.

And also, if you had the JP version and you now own the American please give me your testimony on if you see any noticeable difference between the two when playing the same player.

Thanks

played Austin TX vs Austin TX, both on cable - seemed to be between 100-200ms input lag

Played from here in austin to my friend in Santa Monica, CA. He hosted, felt like about 500ms lag, it was pretty bad. The lag feels like playing melee on a really bad LCD HD TV or something. We both have cable.
