One thing I noticed...

When I breezed through Classic mode the other day I hit up against Master Hand, and I accidentally did Gdorf's uTilt instead of his USmash. I noticed that his Stamina began to shake around, yet it didn't actually do anything. I tried moving further away and closer, but it never changed much, only when the foot was close to it did it have the same effect.

I've tried getting it to happen in Training, but I have no friends to play with right now.

Yeah laugh all you want.

Can anyone confirm any sort of effect? I'm not sure it would be useful but I'm curious.

If you didn't know yet, you'll know now :D

Up-tilt aka Volcano Kick has a vacuum effect, like Kirby/Dedede sucking stuff. It doesn't do damage as it sucks things in (or more correctly, pushes them towards the sweet spot) but each push counts like a 0% damage attack, so that's probably what was causing the shaking effect.

I believe that the 0% damage push can also be used to trigger the counter attacks of characters like Peach, Ike, and Marth [confirm?]

This happens to bosses.

It actually does damage to most subspace emissary enemies.

In actual battles it just sucks you in.

Up-tilt (Volcano Kick) has some mindgame potential. It's an attack with a 2 second (?) charge/delay but (a lesser known) vacuum effect.

I used it pretty often and racked quite a few kills (or at least, hits) against people today. If you start it when they're at a distance/dropping, they sometimes lose the sense of timing (that is, how long you've been holding your leg above your head) and resolve to stand in front of you shielding- and take the hit on their shield.

If someone's recovering and you use the up-tilt 2-3 Ganon-lengths from the edge, there's a good chance that they'll feel safe and then get sucked into the kick.

Along the same lines, if someone's near the edge of the 'projected' kick, they sometimes walk away just a bit, but get sucked back a bit juuust enough to get hit by the explosion.

Also, if an Ike tries to use Quick Draw (side B) on your Volcano Kick, he will hit you and go flying off the level. Go go vacuum.

I can't be too certain of this right now, but the delay after the actual kick doesn't seem to be too much (?) and if that's true, you can use it to bait people to 'punish' you, but reverse it on them instead.

any corrections/comments would be appreciated xD

best mind games a ganon can do would have to be the valcano kick edge guard
step 1) make sure you are max distance from a ledge almost the full ledge of your B -> is what i use
step 2)wait untill right before some1 uses there B up to grab a ledge and start using up tilt
step 3) right when they lose invulnerability from the ledge (this is also right when they can move) ur up tilt will drop on them and cause 18 % and kill any target above 130 % up

this isnt a for sure thing but if timed right the only way to dodge is by releasing the ledge and falling back down..... DO IT AGAIN! (they can just not grab the ledge ... but lets face it most people will)
just some ideas.

It's got its uses, but just like Warlock Punch (neutral B), it's not something to spam ;p

[edit]
ohya, it has a deceptive hitbox that extends even further than the explosion. I'm still working on figuring out when to use it, and I hit someone with it earlier and both of us had the same reaction: "..did that just hit??"
