So does anyone notice Mr Game And Watch’s falling speed, traction, gravity and physics, why is it the same as Mario’s? Watched the video titled “The Most Broken Character In Melee” for the reason why I made this post.

Probably mostly (or entirely) because of time constraints when the game was in development. (See: all other character clones) They probably just decided Mario was a good baseline for his general stats and went from there. Shame they never properly coded his aerials or bothered to give him a real shield.
