I just pulled out my SSB 64 for the first time in nearly 3 years...
its so **** fun!
WAY better than brawl, and not hard to pickup.
after my friend didnt want to play anymore, even the CPUs were fun! XD
Im so happy I saw this board, and decided to play 64!
...oh, and Banjo Kazooie pwns hard too!

i agree with this but be warned, the adepters are kinda buggy and you may need to get 1-10 diffrent contolelrs before 1 works with the adapter =.=

Smash 64 is indeed very fun. I played it this morning, because I missed the stages, those great sound effects... brings back memories.

Instead of getting an adapter, just use a 360 controller. You can make it feel almost identical to the 64 controller.

360 Button: 64 button
A: A
X: B
Y: Left C
B: Down C
Left Stick: analog stick
Up on D-pad: Taunt (melee style)
LB: Z
RB: R
Right on right stick: right C
Up on right stick: up C
Start: Start

360 controllers have horrible buttons for fighting games. Your best bet is to go with n64 and if not that, a gcn controller.

Really? I don't really like that at all.

My N64 controllers are more or less busted, and GCN is more comfortable, but GCN also requires an adapter and according to some people will make you suck on console. Although Keyboard is still no fun.

What was amusing, I tried out SSB64 to sort of wait for Brawl, but in the end, I like it more. Funny how that works.

And I sold my SSB64 and N64 to save up for a Wii. Horrible, HORRIBLE, mistake. Never believe the hype.

i was, i went and baught a brand new one..well err...second hand but condition was new...the contoller works incredibly well on n64, but when i pluged it in the analog is gone crazy...i did everything the video says, and like 91827319 other things i did randomly...nothing worked =.=

XP Try other colors, blue, red, yellow ones, even the pikachu one (i think it was) works with it.

u might just have to buy a new adapter. mine works perfectly w/ all my controllers. even my cheap 3rd party 1. either that or plug in a ps1 controller w/ it. that also seems to fix the problem.

You can. Press the button just like in the N64 controller.
