Olimar: 1 Year

I meant to do this yesterday, but I forgot haha.

Well, a year later Olimar is still going strong. Tourney placings have increased since the spring, we've learned so much more, different strats, combos, techniques, and even a possible desync. Lets make Brawl year 2 even better than the first.

On another note, I'm 16 today. Yay!

He is high enought to be good but not enough for people just to pick him for tier... he is too awesome and odd for that

this is true. I remember the first time i saw olimar in brawl-- i was still too hung up on melee to branch off to a new char... but after everything that oli and i have been thru in the past year, i can see olimar becoming and staying on top for a long time

Hmmm...I used to be a falco player when brawl came out. Then I was messing around and playing some Lvl 9 CPU with xP. I started to do good against them and was loving his style xD. So yea CPU help me chose olimar xD.

I thought Olimar was gonna suck when he was announced. He looked sooooo bad. I mean really, how much damage were pikmin gonna do? They are freaking plants, they are gonna be weak as hell. Sure he can throw pikmin, but can't the opponent just shake them off? What an awful character.

And then he was really strong, had amazing range and quickness, not to mention a broken grab, and he became one of the most frustrating characters to play against. <3 Oli (even if he is also the most stressful character to main, stupid recovery)

I decided to main him as soon as he was said to be in brawl. He still is my main ever scince the game came out. Ah lets give it for a year of Pikmin goodness

1 year... Wow that went by fast.

Yesterday, I looked at the first replay of my Olimar, and I was terrible XD

I've improved so much since then...

But I'm finally starting to go to tournaments, and hopefully I'll be placing well with Olimar.

So, Happy 1 Year Aniversary to all of you, and I hope you all continue to place well with Olimar.

(I am so tempted to upload that horrible replay now =/)
