Hello all, my name is Percent I'm 26 from Canada and I always loved Smash. I played Smash 64 as a Kid "casually" if you liked. My main was Pikachu. I played mostly against my little brother (2 years younger) who was using Falcon. I fell in love with the game. At some point I got a Gamecube because I always loved Nintendo and grew up playing on every Nintendo consoles.
I did get Smash Melee but never played that much because I didn't have anybody to play with I guess. (Brother got into guitar/drums which used a lot of his free time which is the reason we didn't play as much. It never really bothered me tho) :)

Also got a Wii got Brawl because it was Smash and played even less. Mainly because I'm more of a PC guy nowadays. Played Diablo2, CS1.6 and WoW mainly. When Smash Wii U got announced I was so hyped and couldn't wait to play it.
I love Smash 4 the character list is amazing imo.

Anyway, the main reason I joined the smashboards is because I love the community behind smash and I also love watching tournaments and also because I wanna learn more about Smash 4 and maybe Melee. (which will be hard because I don't even know how to wavedash)

I do own every Smash game but I will focus on Smash Wii U for now.
I also have a question for you guys if you want I'd be happy with any advice.
Q: How do you properly chose a main ? (I love to play many characters and I feel its hard to just focus with one)

Thank you for reading and Smash on.

Welcome to the boards! As for properly choosing a main, I'd say, just pick the character you like using the most. I'm bad at giving advice, but hopefully, that should help.

Welcome Percent ! :)
To choose a main, play with the characters that you like the most, then you focus on those with whom you're the most comfortable.

Thanks to both of you for the advice. I'll work on that :)

Actually I do have one more question. If I'm practicing alone, Do you think its better to practice VS normal AI if so what level should the AI be. OR using Amiibos ? I own 4 level 50 Amiibos. Thanks!
Both are good options. I for one would go with CPUs.
