Okay so my local GS tourney starts at 10:30

I want to prepare for it so I was wondering.

Since I don't have Brawl yet, melee is my only choice... lol

Is there any character that plays the most similar to Dedede in melee?
(I'm using him in the tourney)

I don't think so. It won't help practicing with Melee, trust me. Brawl feels completely diffrent than Melee. Just get there 45 minutes early and you might be able to play a match or two before the tournament.

I made it to round two, but I lost in Sudden Death against Meta Knight. He's freaking fast!

There was a guy there who had the Japanese version of Brawl. I believe he probably won it.

Expect a big chunk of the tourny winners to be JPN Brawl owners (or friends of them).

Don't put too much clout in this tournament, its not like it matters that much.
