Okay... since DKs grab release animation is finished faster than anyone elses...

DK can cargo release infinite Ness and Lucas, but other than that, he can't grab release opponents (but he is immune to Bowser's grab release game because he has 10 frames shorter ground escape from grabs than anyone else not mentioning Ness and Lucas who's 20 frames slower).

The grab-release cargo is not an infinite with that EIDI thing they have (it only helps them a little) but it's still easy to perform and most times leads into a buffered-guaranteed dsmash ko at 85-90%

a tradeoff: ness can kill DK at 0 with dair offstage lol

EIDI doesn't exist. I think it was just a joke video. Cargo release has no hitlag. You turn around and grab (similar to Wario's dthrow Chain Grab). Then it doesn't happen to sometimes escape too far to regrab.

No, DK only has 10 frames to do something. You only have time to do some attacks.

Running up to them and GFSC also doesn't work (not even on Snake.. o_o)
