ok, new pic 35 roster, but no sonic??

Okay, so let's recap what we have, shall we?

23 characters on Dojo (starting roster + Snake + Sonic)
9 characters from footage (Falco, Ganondorf, Marth, Ness, Lucario, C.Falcon, Game and Watch, R.O.B., Luigi)
1 character from sticker leak (Jigglypuff)

That's 33.

If we assume a 35-character roster, who are the other two? Young Link and Wolf?

OK, hold up. The above image depicts Link standing in front of a ****load of trophies, which as far as I can make out, are all characters. But then there's this Rdiley trophy too...

I think that all of the characters in the 35 roster are in the game, i just think that there are more...

It seems like of all but 4 of the 35 roster characters have been unlocked via the SSE, and Sonic has already been shown to be in the SSE in the Sonic in Brawl video. Jigglypuff has been shown to be compatible with stickers. According to current evidence, only 2 characters are unlocked outside of the SSE, which contradicst what Sakurai said on the Dojo about many of the characters being unlocked in the SSE, but not all.

I think Markman and Reno may have been right about the complete roster. AFTER BEATING THE SSE!

If that is real, can there really be 35 characters? Think about it, why would they arrange the characters in a 8 per row form if they wanted to put in 35 characters total. Wouldn't they go five rounds of seven per row or something?

If there are only 35, the last row on the bottom will either have 3, which won't make the select parallel (something that kills my Monk-like OCD). Same if the 3 are just added to the existing rows to make three rows of 9 and one of eight.

Maybe I'm reading into this too much, but based on this I might expect 38-40 characters total...not 35. Or at least 36, which would give us one surprise? But maybe that is just wishful thinking?
