Even though I'm not a fan of Wario, creating a thread just to bash him is pathetic and childish and will only erupt in a flame war.

Nothing wrong with having an opinion. Tell me though how is creating a "hate" thread for a character progessive though?

It's progressive in the way that i have an opinion that others share and it is important to state your opinions instead of sitting back and let others opinions rule.....i know he is already in but as you said nothing wrong with having an opinion

and freedom of speech is in the constitution.....and me exercising that freedom helps keep it alive.....

so if you dont like the thread you dont have to read it or post in it

Personally I think Wario will be awesome.

One thing I've always loved about Smash was it's silliness, Wario won't disappoint.

We just don't like it because you put no thought into it.. If you gave reasoning and explained in depth why you didn't like Wario then let the discussion commence, but all you said was "I think Wario is bad"

Agreed. Also, like Onyx said, this falls under the category of Wario discussion, so it should remain in the official Wario thread. I did a search and there were a lot of Wario threads, although not many of them were very successful. http://smashboards.com/search.php?searchid=706657

The point isn't that he's a bad character, it's that he's a lame character. Which I think he is.

Still, I never have seen the point of "let's bash so-and-so" threads. That can be done in the character's official thread (though you'll, of course, get some negative response back). Though, if Wario doesn't really have one, then maybe this should just be the "Official Wario thread" or something.
