Are there any official rules for SSBB tourneys? I have looked around the web, and haven't really found anything. The way I see it, there are almost endless combinations of regulations:

All Characters OR random.
Battlefield OR Final Destination OR random.
Time OR stock OR both.
No items OR medium (all) items.

What do you guys think should be official?

No it's not unknown light. My gamestop tourney used the rules I highlighted above.

EDIT: However, that is the official Nintendo tourneys... thought he was referring to those. Yours is pretty much right though.

Here's what I think it should be:

Choose characters
Battlefield
2 stock
2 mins
All items low

At least that's what I would do (probably) if I was hosting a tourney.

Neutral stages defined by a general consensus or tournament regulations with counter-picks defined by a general consensus or tournament regulations.
3 stock.
No items.

So... basically the way we've been playing tournaments, with one less stock.
