I got sick of all these topics about another delay,so i'm making this topic.

What would happen if the game gets delayed until march?
Bane84 found this:http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/newsArt.cfm?artid=15073

There's a rumor going around saying it's gonna release in March, I personally say that it's not true, since it hasn't been announced in the DOJO and i heard retailers like wal-mart say lies.I say it's coming out on the 10th and i stand by that. What do you think about another delay? So, all delay stuff goes here.

The delay is a lie (just like the cake.)

I would only even CONSIDER believing it if the 2 sites didn't have CONFLICTING dates. If it was an actual delay, don't you think it would be an actual date, not just random days in March?

I really don't think a delay would be necessary at this point. Some people brought up the idea that the delay is due to localization for NoA, but that doesn't seem to make much sense. I mean, we get full English updates every night, and the screenshots indicate the game is in English too. So why would there be any delays for localization? Although, the same could be argued for Nintendo of Europe, and how they manage the same updates, but apparently are going to get screwed over by the release date...

I don't know. I won't even begin to believe this until Nintendo says something about it. Logically there's no reason for another delay in my eyes.

Alright, I will not believe in another delay unless the dojo says it's delayed. So, these topics are useless. They just cause people to get worried. Now, if the dojo says it's delayed again, then these types of topics wouldn't be so useless. Anyway, I'm not being mean, I'm just tired of seeing all of these delay topics. And I know that this is supposed to be a thread where all the delay stuff goes, but I bet there will still be people making threads like these and not searching to see if there is already on a topic like this. Anyway, just sit tight, look at the dojo updates, and by feb. 10th, there won't be a "delay update" .....I hope :dizzy:

honestly, they just can't delay it again. 2 delays? i think nintendo's smart enough not to do that, and unless it was an extremely drastic problem, they really just wouldn't delay it again. and i hope to god this isn't true

If there would be, it wouldn't announced a month before release unless they had massive production problems, and they won't even start producing it until about two weeks out at the earliest.

Btw, all of these sites are just posting the same news; GameCrazy and Gamefly are putting later release dates up. That is all. Neither of those two are even credible sites.

The only official source for a release date is the dojo, and unless they put a different date, or TBD on there, it's on schedule.

Enjoy.

Actually, the screenshots are japanese. Photoshopped to look english. Just look at the Runaway Five's bus (Onett, Classic Stages Part 2). That's thier JAPANESE name on the side.

No delay. There would be riots imo. but how official is Nintendo World Report?
I don't think there's gonna be another delay. It's a few days until Brawl comes out in Japan. It can't get delayed again. And I don't think that's official. I've never even heard of that.

I stand by the argument that places such as Gamefly are announcing personal delays in order for them to build up a decent collection of copies.

Before I've said that tomorrow on the Dojo is pretty much the "do or die" time for a delay announcement or release-date-change to be made. Otherwise, all this delay talk is just fluff.

Also, automated emails from Nintendo haven't changed yet. They still refer to the Dec. 3 delay and apologize for the tough wait until Feb. 10. Again, it's another sign that Nintendo, the source themselves, have not announced anything.

Also, as someone has mentioned, the release date for the game on the Dojo has not been switched to TBD. With the last delay, they did that. Why not now? Again, Nintendo has given no indication of Brawl being pushed back, and since this is the first week of updates after the break, tomorrow seems like a **** good time to clear things up.

Well, I called up the game store where I have my pre-order and they said early March. My thoughts...

1) It means something to me hearing it directly from the store then from some Internet jokers.
2) I specifically mentioned my pre-order so the logic that it only pertains to second shipments or whatever is bogus.
3) US delays without Japanese delays are not unheard of. Hell, DW6 STILL hasn't been released for the States yet and Japan has had it for months.
4) It probably isn't just coincidence that all of these stores and sites at around the exact same time start shuffling the release date to a LATER time.

I think a US delay is imminent... but I guess we'll see.

I'm actually all for another delay if the game is cleaner in the end.

Plus, I'm not going to have any real time to play it until the summer anyway.

There's no delay, people. Just cool it with this. It's getting really old, and they would not announce a delay 14 days from launch. If anything, it wouldn't be a 20 day delay, and if it was, it's not like it'd be the end of the world.

But this is moot, because there isn't another one, never was, never will be.

Which makes it sounds like a more unique case.

The U.S. version of Brawl was apparently developed alongside the Japanese version, as indicated by all the translated content we've already seen. I don't think that there's enough localization issues left in the game to delay it into March. I mean, the game is already two weeks behind the Japanese; how much time could they possibly need?

All EB Games in my area say it's March 1st, but one kid I spoke too say it's a mistake by Nintendo and it'll go back down to February 10th closer to release.
