Hello again. This is mainly a very detailed list of all the confirmed characters up till now. (And yes, mods, I searched)
A few notes:
1. If you see any mistakes or have any information that is not on here please PM me, or if you have any comments, please post them here.
2. You may notice that I wrote "Unconfirmed" next to many Veteran's attacks. This is because while it is likely they stay the same, they can change, like Mario's Down+B did. (That is also why I put a "?" next to Final Smashes and newcomer's attacks.) For attacks that are confirmed, I put the name and providede a link to a picture of the move.
3. This thread is for CONFIRMED characters. It is not a therad for speculation, nor is is it a "confirmed character discussion". If you're looking for that, please go here.

Confirmed: The Icon Discovery revealed that there would be an F-Zero character. And who else could it be? Besides, like Luigi, just plain common sense.
EDIT: Also, an article in Famitsu was found talking about Kunckle Joe and showed a screenshot of Captain Falcon getting hit. It can be found here.

Ganondorf

Homeland: Kanto?
First Appearance: Pokemon Red/Blue
Confirmed: Interview with Snake's voice actor revealed Jigglypuff in Brawl.

ALSO: On the one voice actor's website, Krystal was confirmed to appear in Brawl, but she could be an Assist Trophy, or a character in a cutscene of the Subspace Emissiary or something.


NOTE: The report that confirmed Ganondorf also confirmed Sheik, but it is possible that Sheik appear as an Assist Trophy or something.


ALSO NOTE: The aforementioned icon discovery reveals there is an Animal Crossing character. The question is...who? My money's on the A.C. kid.
EDIT: Well.... maybe not. A DS icon was revealed also, which means unless there is a Touch Generation character, (which I doubt) an AC rep is not guaranteed.

We don't know if that is one of his moves again. It is possible, (but unlikely) that it is a smash attack... but I'll add it nonetheless.
