Round 2:

Zapdos: Timid

ThunderWave
ThunderBolt
Roar
U-turn

(Zapdos is my annoying starter. TW to Roar, TW to Roar. Come across something that can't be TW'd, U-turn).

Electrivire: Adamant

ThunderPunch
IcePunch
CrossChop
Earthquake

(Pretty straight forward here. I did doubles with my buddy yesterday with Zapdos and Electrivire starting. While nothing too special, Tbolting Electrivire, and having Electrivire use an Earthquake is pretty smexy. ;) )

Magmortar: Modest

Flamethrower
TBolt
Psychic
Focus Blast

(Spec Sweeper.)

Gengar: Timid

Will-O-Wisp
Tbolt
Shadow Ball
Sludge B omb

( Spec Sweeper I guess.)

Rhyperior: Bold

@Leftovers

Earthquake
Megahorn
Avalanche
Rock Wrecker

(Phys. tank)

And that's it so far. I'm dropping Torterra(didn't post), for Salamence. Probably Adamant, but I'm looking for a good moveset and EV spread (EV spreads for all the others too).

Rates and critques please. Thank you for your time.

i was going to say 2 eletrics is bad but it's zapdos and electivire, different weaknesses and type coverage

anyways, you need 1 more guy, a special tank

i'm not liking the zapdos moveset that much...i don't think it needs t-wave

Zapdos is my annoyer. It's used to parlyz the other team quickly, and go through their team quickly, parylzing along the way. I figure a good item would be a berry, to get rid of parylz on myself if I come across a Syncro.

What type of Special tank would you recommend? I know Salamence isn't a great tank (don't think he is anyway), but I was thinking of adding him to replace Torterra. Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

blissey is the best tank there is

well the only problem with doing your zapdos tactic is the status clause, can't paralyze, sleep, burn, freeze more than one of your opponents pokemon, meaning paralyzing 2 pokes, but you can paralyze and put one to sleep

umbreon is also a good special tank

It's only the Sleep and Frozen clause. You can parlyze everyone, because they can still attack and what have you. Same with burn. This could have changed recently, but to my knowledge, it's only Sleep and Frozen. At the gamestop tourney, I parylzed this guys first two-three pokes.

I thought about Umbreon. My buddy has a pretty annoying one...

Umbreon: (not sure on the nature)
@leftovers

Moonlight(?)
Substitute
Payback
Curse

ThunderWave
ThunderBolt
Roar
U-turn

Haven't seen a Zapdos like that before, and I don't know much about Zapdos, so no comment.

Electrivire: Adamant

ThunderPunch
IcePunch
CrossChop
Earthquake

(Pretty straight forward here. I did doubles with my buddy yesterday with Zapdos and Electrivire starting. While nothing too special, Tbolting Electrivire, and having Electrivire use an Earthquake is pretty smexy. ;) )

Expert Belt for the item, since he hits so many Pokes super-effective. Standard Electivire has Thunderbolt over ThunderPunch and a Lonely nature, so that it doesn't get walled too badly by Skarmory. If you keep ThunderPunch, make the EV spread 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 HP. If you use Thunderbolt, go with 252 Atk/80 SAtk/176 Spd.

Magmortar: Modest

Flamethrower
TBolt
Psychic
Focus Blast

(Spec Sweeper.)

Choice Specs or Life Orb here, I guess. 252 SAtk/252 Spd/4 HP.

Gengar: Timid

Will-O-Wisp
Tbolt
Shadow Ball
Sludge B omb

( Spec Sweeper I guess.)

Hypnosis works better than W-o-w on Gengar for a status move, imo. Your team seems to have a huge Swampert problem, so put Energy Ball over Sludge Bomb.

Rhyperior: Bold

@Leftovers

Earthquake
Megahorn
Avalanche
Rock Wrecker

(Phys. tank)

Needs more Stone Edge, preferably over one of the last three moves.
Hope that helps

Thanks. You're not the first to suggest Energyball for Gengar, or Stone Edge for Rhyperior. But in my last Team thread, people said to go with RockWrecker and Sludgebomb. Not much is weak against poison. I may end up switching that. I kept rockwrecker for the damage, and better accuracy compared to Stone Edge.

I was told Electrivire was more of a Physical, rather than a Spec poke.

Now, it's just a matter of a few more rates (the more, the merrier) and getting these items. :-?

mood4food: there's no such thing as a status clause, only sleep and freeze clause. And Umbreon isn't really great this gen, since everything hits so hard now. He really just ends up being set-up bait.

Odin: When I saw Rock Wrecker, I was thinking of a different move lol. GET RID OF IT, Hyper Beam type moves are never good, even if you kill something with it the first turn, your opponent gets a free turn to set up, since you can't switch out. When you remember that Stone Edge has the same chance to critical as it has to miss, it really isn't that bad. On Gengar, definitely drop Sludge Bomb, like you said, poison moves have terrible type coverage, and you need something to help against Swampert.

About Elective, he still is mostly physical, but with Thunderbolt he can OHKO Skarm instead of taking half its health with TPunch and getting Whirlwinded.

Okay, so Stone Edge>Rock Wrecker. Good to know.

I already put on Energy Ball. Thanks for that. ;)

I'll look into the Tbolt>Tpunch.

Also, can I get some EV spreads on Gengar and Rhyperior?

And what would be the best SPDef tank I can get? Or a good moveset for Salamence?

Gengar should be 252 SpA/252 Spd/4 HP. Not positive on Rhyperior, 252 HP, and some kind of split with Attack and Defense, with more EVs into whichever one is more important to you.

Special tanks... Blissey is obviously best, but she's gay :). Togekiss with alot of HP and SpD EVs works really well, in my experiences. Snorlax is supposedly decent, but I've never used him so I'm not sure.

Salamence is so versatile, there are a lot of different ways to use it. Something like this would probably work well with your team, if you really want Salamence:
Salamence @ Life Orb
Adamant
252 Atk/252 Spd/4 HP
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge/Brick Break

Probably doesn't need that much speed, but that's just off the top of my head.

Salamence seems like it would fit in nicely. :)

I need to breed in DD though. :-? And I'm out of SE TMs. Anyplace I can grab those, along with the other items?

I guess it would work, but it would probably only work well in the late game, after you've taken out all of your opponents special sweepers and hazers/phazers. It'd probably surprise your opponent, since I've never seen someone use it. I think you can breed it onto him with a Torterra.

My thoughts exactly (breeding wise). It's an interesting idea, nonetheless. It's a matter of finding a way for it to work well. It's also a matter of what move to drop for Curse too. I was thinking of dropping the rock type, leaving Earthquake, Megahorn(move has saved my *** so many times), and Avalanche. Since I'd have my weakness covered (flying, grass), and most Fire types have a secondary weakness (most recent is Blaziken, which is weak to Earthquake), I figure it'd be okay to drop Stone Edge.
