Anyway, I see a rough number of 37-50 characters, with 50 slightly pushing the envelope.

The Demo had 14 characters on 12 Stages!!!!!! That tells you somethings right there.

Although there are 14 more weeks so keeping up with what theve been doing
there should be 14-16 more characters anounced which makes about 38 characters
anounced before the game comes out.

Im going to guess about 35-40. Now that jigglypuff seems to be confirmed how many is that total. 24 or 25 right? If so that may leave 10-15 more characters to be announced according to my guess.

C'mon, let's be real. Including too many characters would ruin the fun, as many characters would go unused. I'm guessing 35 total. Not too little, not too many. 50 Max.
