K, I was just looking at my sig options and at the very bottom under the place where you put in your sig, there's something called Signature Permissions. It looks something like this:

I'm not sure how these options are changed. You might be able to put images in your sigs if you have a certain amount of posts or something, contact a moderator and ask them because I don't see anything about signature permissions in the FAQ.

Oh ya, new members can't post images for a certain number of posts/time period. I can't remember how much though.

EDIT: I just got a total of 31 posts and it allowed me to use the tag now. I think requirement is 30 posts.
