The projected idea was top 5 for each character but some characters have more and a few have less.

Nietono does not play Sheik anymore. Lean is not notable as a Pika main, he relies far too much on Sheik. Yui does not play Fox, swap with SH. Daiki may not be primarily notable for Diddy as he plays Megaman too, I would swap for Shoot or simply remove. aMSa basically doesn't play this game anymore. If you're going to put Ginko for Pac-man you might as well add Tea too.

I like the top 5 idea. I feel it gets very subjective with so many names in there.

I personally really enjoyed the way Shaya did it. There's some form of objectivity with a larger list of high level players based on wins and losses and tournament placings, and a smaller more subjective list of the top players with each character. It does seem like it takes a lot of effort to maintain though.

but i also like a top 5 for each character. it's a pretty nice way to line everyone up and a lot of people talk about it anyways so having something concrete is cool.

top 5 sheiks is smth like 1 zero - 2 mr. r - 3 edge - 4 vinnie - 5 (void/rain/shu) the last spot is basically tied imo.

Zelda has ven who beat Z before and is PR'd in NV. Zylach and Zolda constantly win and get PR'd in WI.

Wii Fit has Wii Twerk Trainer who beat Logic at Genesis 3. Why is TKbreezy there? He's not that good, he doesn't get far in tournaments at all and doesn't beat any notable players

For Tink there is Hyuga who just beat Nairo and 6WX at G3, has taken a set of Vinnie in the past, and has came close to defeating Mr. R. He also generally considered the second player overall in Mexico. There is also Zan, who is PR'ed in SoCal and often considered the best Toon Link player and has beaten some top opponents in that region. I believe he also sent Abadongo to Losers at G3.

My issue with just listing top 5 for each character is that for some characters with a lot of representation, some really good players get shafted.
