I'm seriously considering starting to host tourneys at my place. They obviously won't be ranked, but I suppose I could draw up a leader board and such.

But yeah, would anyone be interested in this?

Forgot to mention, I've got 2 quite large TVs and I could handle housing about 4 people if you don't mind sleeping on sofas =]

Can always stock up on food too so no one would need to go hungry.

Edit: Bickers may be able to house 2-3 more too, he's only a 15-20 minute drive away.

Yeah that was my thinking. The tourneys aren't frequent enough.

Right, i'll get on timetabling and stuff. I'll see where I can slot one in between all the other smash stuff going on, and see how it goes.

alright fuzzy 2 posts iv made not involving u yet u stick ur nose in what is so bad about saying if i spend 30 pounds on travel id like to atleast make my travels back IF I WIN iv traveld to fests where i only got 14 pounds for first place its not all about the money its about meeting up with my freinds and the competition if im traveling along way i like the pot to be higher as i like the chance of winning the money to cover my travels if i dont win fair enough i tryed il have to save up and miss a few so stfu u know **** and u pissing me of now with ur *****y comments u got a few people who wil stick up for u on this idc just stay out my face and wel get on alright , i think most people wil agree theyd love to get there money back for traveling for 1st place as its like a nice day out with freinds thats all i said ... anyway il leave it there dooan wil be great to have ur tourny hosted as like a monthly or whatever ur planning mate gives us all a extra chance to meet each other up more and get in some games hope it works out and il definatly attend and give u some matches in freindlies :D

Weeell if its come up, may as well speak my mind.

I was going to see if there was interest first, then going to ask if people preferred a money/non-money thing. Obviously if there's money involved people will naturally play their hardest and such, and people would be more tempted to come from further off, play better, and hopefully just advance UK smash in the grand scheme of things.

On the other hand the main reasons I'm considering organising this is to put some more life into the community and generally have fun with you guys. Also I feel that the one accessible tourney in the northwest isn't frequent enough for my taste, and I naturally want to improve as much as I can (as do all of us I suppose), no reflection on Aiko of course, love you hun <3

So yeah, once I've finalised most of the dates/times then I can knock my head against the entry fee/non entry fee issue. Even if I did decide to make an official money entrance thing, the amount would depend on how many entrants we have in the first place.

What new tricks? I've bin working a nasty combo with the thunder and the quick attack..

Instead of doing the double quick attack thing when you hit the ground on your second quick attack i do thunder which is by that point instant and with pika being right next to them ful knock back damage :D
