I live in Milpitas/San Jose, trying to play some smash with medium level players. I'm not the greatest player but I've got the basics down and would like to see if anyone wants to play some Smash!

Also I'm buying a gamecube controller adapter as well if anyone's selling it in the area. I've tried to get it for a month with no luck.

If you ever want to come out to a tournament, you should. Every tournaments has friendlies before bracket starts and after bracket has progressed far enough, so you don't need to worry about not getting to play. I still encourage you to enter the brackets, though, since it's a great learning experience. You can find tournaments at NorCal's facebook page. There's a weekly in Mountain View every Monday, which might be close to you? Info is at this link.
