I wasn't aware that lucid dreaming was a 'sixth sense' so to speak, seeing as I can take a month and force my mind into doing it.

I understand what you mean--I actually believe what you're saying is true. There really isn't else for me to say.

Good blog, by the way.

Interesting post, and I agree with it for the most part.

And question: Why does everyone always use Christianity as an example? There are more religions than that in the world, you know.

Reality?

It kinda sucks. Which probably explains all the people who believe in the #3 realities, must make life a lot better.

finalark, I would assume Christianity is used as an example so much because it is a religion that a lot, if not all of us, are familiar with. It'd be like describing, say, suspenders to someone that has never worn them before. You could say many things, like maybe they feel just like jeans only with a vest attached, but you're going to choose the example that you know they will understand or at least think they will understand. Maybe that was a bad example. =3

Anyway, lucid dreams are dreams in which you decide, right? If so, then I would go out on a limb and say that perhaps not all people can decide their dreams? I know I can't, and yeah, I've tried.

I could have elaborated more on lucid dreams. OBEs (Out of body ewperiences) are said to occur during lucid dreaming. Things such as walking through walls, time traveling, and spiritual connections. That's what I mean by that.

Cristianity is probably most use as an example because it is the most commonly known(In the western sosciety). Pretty much what NakeDeDeDe said.Based on the last cencus in 2000, about 33% of the world population are cristian, which is the highest amount by quite a bit. It is more affective to use an example that a majority can relate to. For example if I were to talk about how fast food affects the world I would probably use McDonald's as an example rather tan something like Jack in The Box.

I know that there is a sixth sense but a seventh?

Lucid dreams, im sure most of us can't decide what our dreams can be, i can't but i had OOBE s before, most of them were of flying/falling.
I want to ask if Deja Vu falls in any of these realities.

Other than that, great blog Zen.

Déjà vu I've had a few times, but how about jamais vu? This one happens to me more often. It's pretty much the exact opposite, where familiar situations feel unfamiliar and new.

Yes, it's tough to say which one it would fall under though. Because Deja vu occurs at random moments very little testing has been done on the subject. The most common scientific theory is that that Deja vu occurs when a present event is extremely similar to a an event that has happened in the past(One that has been forgotten). Since they are so similar you get the feeling that you have been through what you are doing once before. Under that definition it would probably fall under number one.

Some say that there are people who have dreams/visions of future events and because dreams are so easily forgotten you get the "I've been through this before" feeling from that. If this were the case it would fall under number two.

And then there are those who believe you actually are Re-living the moment due to reincarnation. Like you have gone through the same thing in a past life. Based on this belief Deja vu could fall under the number two reality or number three reality.

Deja vu is still a big mystery though. No one can really say for sure. But than again that applies to everything.
