Smash Wii U No news about the new modes?

The home page didn't say anything about Masahiro (Sakurai) talking about adding new modes to the Wii U version.
Is the news not that important?

While it is news, it's just a tidbit as it stands. He didn't go into any detail at all. We know we're getting the tournament mode and that's about it.

As far as speculation goes, I know there is an unused announcer voice clip for a mode called "Smash World". There is also an unused clip for "Special Smash" in the 3DS version that can actually be heard in the game's sound test. I would assume those are two things they are working on.

It will probably randomly come out of no where like Lucas did. I think it's more hype when the announcement happens suddenly. Also, I don't think the new modes are Nintendo's priority right now. Honestly I think Sakurai is doing this all for the fans, so I wouldn't be too surprised if Adventure mode returned as that was quite popular among players.

To be honest, don't hold your breath too long on this, if any new modes do come out, it will be something additionnal to whatever we have. Best bet we'd have are plateform stage or more stages period.
