just curious if anyone has found this yet..

do the [nade + shield] dropping a grenade at your feet. after the nade is at your feet grab your opponent and beat them wit A while standing over the nade. while doing this the grenade will explode and your opponent will be sent flying out of your grapple (at +100% some toons will fly off the screen). snake will take dmg but he will not move. this is like ike's knockback cancel with his B flame move

let me kno,

tok

**EDIT this only works when snake is NOT the leading character of the brawl match(for example if there are two players and theyre locked in to ports 1 and 2 it will not work for port 1 player. if it is set to two players and you put your controllers in to ports 3 and 4 it will not work for port 3, only port 4 player)... just when you thought the controller port tricks were over eh?

Hm I knew this but I didn't know it was port dependent... o.O

.....on a side note I read somewhere that only bowswers in 1P slot can suicide bowser slam and have the opponent die before they do as they slam them down and offscreen....I wonder why they put this feature in?...(port-dependancy)

you can also do this with downsmashes. if u do ur downsmash and grab the opponent they will recieve the damage when it goes off and u will not flinch. u still get the damage though!

so if I'm playing a live match I should play in only ports 2 and 4?
doesnt affect online games right?
nice find (if its true.... kind of hard to believe)

if youre playing a live match you can be logged in to any port that is not the MAIN port. if you play with three players do not plug in to port 1, ports 2 and 3 are fine.

i have not tested online play yet
