Check it out, No Contest is now a bi-weekly event! What this means is we'll be splitting Melee and Project M into their own events, which allows us to have singles and doubles for the respective game EVERY tournament! This time we have Project M & Smash 64 on the table for you all.

At 7:00 any side event you guys want is open to be played. Want Wii U or Rivals of Aether? If there's enough interest, you bring setups and people to play, then we will run it for you! No competitive game is off the table as long as you can provide the setup for it!

If you can help us out by bringing a setup it would be much appreciated. We have plenty of room and more CRT's then we have our own setups for rn!

Schedule:
2:00 - Doors Open & Registration Begins
3:00 - Project M Doubles Registration Ends
5:00 - Project M Singles Registration Ends
5:00 - Smash 64 Singles Registration Ends
7:00 - Side Events Can Begin
12:00 - Event Ends & Store Closes

Project M Ruleset
For everything except the stage selection we use the Apex 2014 ruleset, including character selection and stage striking. Since the Apex site no longer has the rules up here's a link if you are unfamiliar: PROJECT M RULESET

Project M Stage List:
Green - Starter/Neutral Stages:
1-2-1 Starter Striking
These stages are available all rounds but are the only ones available for round 1.
-Green Hill Zone
-Pokémon Stadium 2
-Smashville
-Battlefield
-Dreamland 64

Yellow - Counter Pick Stages:
2 Counter-Pick Bans Bo3, 1 Counter-Pick Ban Bo5
These stages are available only after round 1 is complete.
-Fountain of Dreams
-Final Destination
-Warioland (Singles only)
-Delfino Secret (Doubles only)

Red - Banned Stages
This should be self explanatory.
-Everything on Page 2
If both players agree you can play on any stage you like. Just don't be salty if you lose on Rainbow Cruise and you agreed to it.

Smash 64 Ruleset:
For Smash 64 we run things slightly different then the standard Apex ruleset. We add Hyrule Castle as a Counter-Pick to have some more stage diversity. If you are unfamiliar with the basic rules of this game you can find them here: SMASH 64 RULESET

Smash 64 Stage List:
Like I said Hyrule Castle has been added to the stage list, however now having 4 available stages allows you to have 1 Counter-Pick ban but still no DSR.

Starter/Neutral Stages:
These stages are available all rounds but are the only ones available for round 1
-Dreamland

Counter Pick Stages:
These stages are available only after round 1 is complete
-Peach's Castle
-Hyrule Castle
-Congo Jungle

Banned Stages:
This should be self explanatory.
-Everything else
If both players agree you can play on any stage you like. Just don't be salty if you lose on Saffron City and you agreed to it.

Final Words
If you are in the Charlotte area, or even the Carolinas in general, come on out, have some fun, and enjoy playing some smash. If anyone was there and wants to give me any constructive criticism please let me know. I am all ears and I want to make these tournaments the best possible experience for you guys.

If you have any questions or need any information feel free to message me on Smashboards or Frame Zero Gaming's Facebook page. Thanks everybody!
