Wouldn't say these are my favorites but they're the first that came to mind:
-Joshua
-Josuke
-Deku
-Greed
-Cu Chulainn

Deku would try to form a plan to escape by watching the machete man's(I'm gonna call him Bob for simplicity's sake) movements.
Greed could just make himself invulnerable with his Perfect Shield.
Josuke could easily hold him off because Bob wouldn't be able to see nor harm Crazy Diamond. Alternatively, he could also trap Bob by restoring a wall around him, assuming Bob doesn't have super-human strenght to break out.
Joshua takes it as a high-stakes game but he can also easily dodge Bob's attacks.
Cu dies because Bob isn't human

By default, Greed survives because Bob can't hurt him.
Josuke has the second best chance to "defeat" Bob but only if he can hold him with Crazy Diamond or trap him between the restored walls.
Deku can survive by devising some sort of plan, dunno what, would depend on the environment and if there's nothing he can work with, his best shot is at outrunning Bob.
Joshua leaves everything up to luck on a coin toss because he's an absolute madman.
Cu dies.

For the record, the machete man cannot die.

My top 5 favorite fictional characters: Celes, Gurren Lagann Simon, KOS MOS, Link and Warriors Yukimura.

For clarification sake, I mean the Twilight Princess version of Link.

4/5 of my top 5 I'm absolutely sure have obviously faced much bigger and stronger threats than whatever how strong this supernatural maniac is measured to be. Yukimura is the exception as that 1/5 but his story variations depict him training for years so he's a capable warrior. Though he's never faced anything supernatural before, so he'll struggle of course.

Definitely confident in KOS MOS and Simon. KOS MOS is an android suited for combat who's pretty damn tough. She has a lot in her aresnal to bring out. Simon's just ridiculously strong with his mech combinations.

Replaying FF6 atm so while I'm not sure how strong Celes is in comparison, I'm sure she'll probably pull through. Definitely no problem for Link though.

I'm not really sure how to respond to the "immortal maniac" but I guess Simon would be the only one that survives since he's well... a super robot pilot? KOS MOS would probably survive as well... The rest I won't be sure of surviving. XD

Yukimura would probably be the first to die since he's technically the least strongest out of the 5 canonically.

Top 5 characters ever: Edward Elric, Darth Vader, The Joker (Dark Knight), The 10th Doctor, and Lelouch vi Britannia

Who would survive? Probably the 10th Doctor, because he can just keep regenerating and sooner or later outsmart the maniac since he's known for being brilliant. Lelouch has Geass, but he can only use it once on the killer and his physical prowess is terrible. He can also be reckless with Geass sometimes so Lelouch I'm not sure about. Joker survives with the 10th doctor because he's a maniac himself so he knows how the killer thinks. Only really outright bad designs pre-FGO would be Nero, Elizabeth and Jack imo. Most of the artwork in FGO is done by outside artists like in FEH so you end up with stuff like Boudica, Lancer Artoria and whatever the **** is that Orion's artist has going on.

Also, that'd be Hassan-i-Sabbah better known as King Hassan, founder of the Hashashin and candidate for the Grand Assassin class. Now bear with me because I'm about to drop a wall of text on him.

Basically, he's the most OP out of all Assassins, while that normally wouldn't be much to say, he puts most Servants to shame, this guy casually parried an attack from a fully powered Numeral of the Saint Gawain.
But what truly gives him the title of Grand Assassin is his ability to kill LITERALLY ANYTHING. He can kill Servants, he can kill immortal beings and he can even "kill" concepts such as communications or contracts. All of this because he can apply the "concept of death" to anything. This is reflected in gameplay by him having a passive skill that gives his normal attacks a 5% chance to insta-kill(before death chance is calculated though), you're rarely ever going to see it as most enemies have ridiculously high insta-death resistance but it's a small RNG fun that shows what he's capable of. His NP is also incredible, no death animation or anything, the enemy just disappears.

He's also a nice grandpa.

Tl;dr he may be the edgiest character in Fate but good ****ing god is he badass and Saving For Him™ is my next goal in FGO.

Yeah, but what I like is big elaborate dresses, like you'd see on a Princess. Or incredibly integrate designs you'd see a fantasy witches robe. Otherwise I don't really like Girly clothes.

And it took me until University to get long hair, and actually make it grow, and if it stay down, instead of growing into a mess of an afro, which I can thank my Nana from my Mum's side. And I'm never cutting my hair again, my dad went bald, both my uncles went bald, I'm keeping my hair long so that I have hair when I'm an actual old man.

And well if the top of my head goes bald, just means I have an easy way to cosplay the 1st Doctor.

Chrom, Quasimodo, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Goofy. I think they'd make it through okay. Three are outright trained for combat, Quasimodo is incredibly strong and resourceful even without formal training, and Goofy...has the Perfect Cast, I guess. I really don't care about her character when her gender-bend is one of the least justifiable ones in Fate, doesn't help she's a Saberface for no reason at all. Everytime she moves and I see her panties I die a little inside.

Unless you want to tell me Extra has a very good reason why Nero Claudius, Emperor of Rome, is actually a woman.


Also, best girl is obviously Artoria and you'll have to fight me to the death to prove me wrong.
