Scorpion's a badass and I love what they did to him in MKX and 11.

But Sub-Zero's always had more character, more struggle and a badasss Shredder outfit in Deception and Armageddon... so the answer is obvious.
Honestly they only started to do character development for Scorps in MKX. Meanwhile ol' Subby has been getting more character since MK3, when they introduced Kuai aka the 'cooler' Sub Zero. Sorry, Bi Han, but everyone prefers you as Noob.

Question for you all. Do you prefer Scorpion or Sub Zero?

I prefer Sub Zero myself, and that just might be because Kuai Liang's voice is awesome. His voice actor Steve Blum is great. He's the voice of X-men's Wolverine in the cartoons/games and has been for years.
Plus I like his moveset like the Ice slide and Ice weapons.
I've always been kind of a pocket Scorpion main so him.

I just could never gel with Sub Zero's moveset for some reason. Though I did like using Cyber Sub Zero in 9.

That aside, my actual favorite of the ninjas is Smoke, with Noob not far behind him. Kinda funny how MK seems to constantly bone my mains though lol.

In 9 I mained Smoke, Noob and Rain, and X pretty much BTFO'd 2 of them with the remaining one being quite literally the last DLC character for the game. So for X I ended up maining Mileena almost exclusively aaaand then she died in the story so that already made her chances of returning for the next game questionable.

And indeed that turned out to be the case, with Mileena being gone from 11 with no DLC in sight. Though Noob did end up coming back, so I'm pretty stoked about that.

Helps that we have Noob-Smoke in Deception.

The idea of a tag-team character was just so cool.

Both
Scorpion for the memes and ****ed up life
Sub Zero for the style and Steve Blum’s voice

Ronda Rousey as Sonya Blade is still weird to me, but young Ronya Blousey is pretty good

Yeah it's all really concerning.
There was a problem fetching the tweet
Why the hell are people cheering?

The guy is quite obviously lost it and you... cheer it on? Even if you didn't know the situation, he's strapped to a gurney being wheeled into a freakin ambulance, feel like it isn't the best time for celebration.

Sub Zero. I love the Bi-Han/Kuai Liang conflict and yeah Steve Blum kills it with his delivery. The ice weapons are awesome too, love the way he essentially summons them at will during combos. Plus his new maskless look in MK 11 is AMAZING.

I have seen a lot of people talk about many of the controversies in MK11 mostly with Tower of Time and overall reward payout. Though, I haven't seen anyone mention "Race Against Time" which I find mind bogglingly dumb. Basically, its a time limited online event where you compete for the highest score in ToT matches, but only the top 5% actually get a worthwhile reward in what seems to be skins that are exclusively unlocked through the event. Which raises a lot of red flags in my eyes.

Oh yeah apparently the MK11 DLC leaks may have been fake.
I had my doubts the second it leaked more DLC than the Kombat Pack actually had.

Still hoping the guest lineup has at least Ash Williams and Terminator though because those are amazing picks. Joker would be a cool bonus too.

I feel like the shot of Eggman that they showed at the end of the trailer will be the last shot of the movie, in a poorly-advised attempt at a sequel hook, and he'll spend basically all of the movie as a poor man's Snidely Whiplash or the villain of Wacky Races whose first name is censored (the Dastardly one).

Also, the CGI is really obvious, Sonic's design (especially his hands and legs) creeps me out, and it seems like one of those adaptations that will focus on the humans way more than the title character, but I saw all of that coming.

I’m currently working on a Mario Kart track list. The retro ones first. The only one that is definitely in the retro cups is Wario Stadium from N64 since it’s the only N64 track to not come back.

Have a list for each game?

Except MK8 since it’s the latest and therefore, all 25 non-retro tracks are able to be picked.

I personally think Nintendo might double dip in the retro tracks.

Not that every retro track will be that, but like, Mario Kart 8 was the first game to actively remake tracks rather than just port them. This kind of opens a lot of potential.
Well they did make Cheese Land and Ribbon Road pretty cool in 8, so if they add more dlc to 8 or for the inevitable 9 they could update tracks like Sunset Wilds or Lakeside Park into some cool beans.

I meant using tracks that were already given the retro treatment.

MK8's DLC is a good proof of what I'm implying, because 3 of the 7 retro tracks we got from it (nearly half) have already appeared as retro tracks before 8.

Yoshi Circuit and Baby Park were both in Mario Kart DS (although Baby Park deserved to be re-done because DS ****ed it up)
SNES Rainbow Road was in Mario Kart 7

And we still had some amazing tracks left to pick.

Well I don’t know if that really counts since those are dlc and base game never repeats retro tracks yet. They migt for 9 since there’s only 1 n64 track and 4 gamecube ones but until then they haven’t.

They could've put anything for DLC though, yet roughly half the retros were double dipping.

I can see a handful of tracks be repeats to give a more robust list of places to race into, especially when the one track missing from 64 is honestly not that great to begin with. Mostly likely tracks that weren't in 8, since they'd likely be remade from scratch just like 8's retro tracks were.

It was? I remember it being verified by countless people out there on Reddit. And they leaked like hundreds of dialogue as well so if it was a fake then that's some serious dedication.

Well we’ll find out who’s right eventually.

If I'm not right for 9, I'll definitely be right for 10 because we'd have officially ran out of tracks for 64 and Double Dash would only have a small amount left.

It's not a matter of if they'll do repeats, but a matter of when.

Yeah we are definitely in agreement for 10

Also, if you're gonna follow patterns of previous games not doing repeats, I think it's fair you also choose the third Rainbow Road to follow up on 7 and 8.

Which means that, in your hypothetical list of tracks for a hypothetical MK9, GBA Rainbow Road should be a lock.

Well here’s my initial idea.
