What I love is how this place is populated with teenagers on a normal basis but Shiny's always singled out for some reason. LMAO. It's just bizarre to me considering that hardly ever happens with other users, including me when I was 14 on this website.

But like, realistically, a crossover fighter wouldn't have as many Nintendo characters as Smash to begin with. Why would they pick characters who aren't in Smash when those are all of the extremely important and iconic ones, outside of maybe Toad or Waluigi because Mario, or an ARMS character like Spring Man?

Frankly, having Nintendo characters who aren't in Smash seems like more of a stretch to me.

I know this isn't that important or matter but If we are talking about Nintendo vs Capcom being like how Marvel vs Capcom is then I don't get that mentality either. Especially when crossover like this means that both Nintendo can Capcom has to bring out their most iconic ones. The characters that both Nintendo and Capcom fans can be easily familiar with.

Also... the argument is more absurd when basically Smash plenty of characters already so adding characters that aren't in Smash is literally telling Nintendo to scrap to the bottom of the barrel...

But yeah, seriously, the only non-Smash ones that would remotely make sense to me would be:
- (Captain) Toad or Waluigi, just due to Mario's pull...but that's assuming a lot of other Mario characters are already present.
- Different, but popular Fire Emblem Lords like Hector, Lyn, Celica, Alm, Eirika, or Ephraim...but that's assuming a decently large Fire Emblem presence, since I doubt they'd be in before Marth, Ike, and/or an Awakening character.
- A different Pokémon...but that assumes GameFreak would play ball to begin with.
- Spring Man.


Not a whole lot of room for non-Smash ones, especially since most of these have legitimate space issues going against them.

Dr. Mario to some extent is... since it was a pretty iconic Tetris like Mario game. Ice Climber again, represent the Classic NES, Corrin nuff said..., Ike was the main character in FE's game on GC. Dark Samus on the other hand is an echo fighter and already has a trophy before.

I... actually won't, and I have watch a bit of Bayonetta gameplays and yeah but even so the Angels that she kills are nothing like Pit anyway.

Link was in Soul Caliber, Mario/Luigi/Peach were all in a few EA sports games back in the day, Chrom and the superior Lucina were in PXZ2...yeah you got a point

I think that's because the Marvel vs Capcom fanbase got spoiled way too much before Infinite.

I mean, if you count UMvC3, around two thirds of MvC3's cast is people who have never been in a crossover fighter before. And one veteran, Jill, has been reworked so much she might as well be a completely different character too.

And MvC2 had this "EVERYONE IS HERE!" aspect where all the Marvel and Capcom fighters who had been in a crossover at the time along with some new ones would all be crammed into a single roster. So while there wasn't a lot of new faces, it basically pulled a Smash Ultimate nearly 20 years before Smash Ultimate.

So yeah, the problem is just that the side that complains is spoiled, imo.

Everything to super broski first person shooter for a while with 5 and 6 so they just kept to Chris and Leon as heroes because you know TESTERONE AND BOULDER PUNCHING and RAWRR.

All the RE women are treated like crap for the most part by Capcom and it's sad.

But when I saw that stage and their music, that's when nostalgia hits lol, same with Starfox, Starfox 64 was the first game that I have completed solo when I was young. And the game was heck of fun, that being said I'm not a Fox main nuff said of being a Starfox fan...

Speaking of... I know this sound crazy but I actually want Valkyria Chronicles to have motion controls when aiming in Action Mode...
Because trying to aim for head shot in both VC1 and VC4 using joy stick on my Joy Con is really a hassle...

Also side note... apparently Skullgirls 2nd Encore is coming to Switch in the Spring of 2019.

I am willing to buy the physical version of this game even if it costs 30$. Because many might already aware, Skullgirls has always been more top wish ports, especially when Indivisible was announced for Switch too... oh yeah, I guess Indivisible might come out shortly after Skullgirls as well?

Ugh, it would be immensely frustrating. Especially given how Capcom got Ace Attorney fans hyped this year for little next to nothing.

I mean, Phoenix does have an anime and some ports coming to the Switch, so it would make sense. And from what I've seen in polls, he tends to be the most popular pick for Capcom newcomer franchise in Smash. And given his tightness with Nintendo, not to mention, Sakurai meeting with Takumi during the duration of the development (easily the time where the DLC plans could've been made), it feels like child's play.

The one worrying point is that Capcom are Capcom still.
