Except Alucard is not a prince, as Dracula is not a king(and no, King of Darkness does not count). Dracula's a Count, thus Alucard is either also a count or he's a lord. *inb4FireEmblemLord*

He's referred to as a Prince though, like not literally though. Just like how CV Dracula isn't literally a count, a count is just another term for lord. I'm guessing that Alucard being called a Prince is in the same vain as Dracula being called the Lord of Darkness. But Dracula doesn't serve anyone, so it's not lord the actual position and more so just lord as in ruler.
