That Spiderman game on PS4 is apparantly pretty good, right? To those who play it, can they confirm this?

Its pretty good. i love the exploration and what they've done to keep the story unique but still faithful to the origins of the characters.

Only thing I'm not super fond of is the boss fights, as they are pretty simple. Still fun fights, but could definitely do more with them.

So, I got back from a anime/videogame convention here on my city. It was rather modest (specially compared to the one I went on Summer since there they had Smash Ultimate), but I still had fun. Since there were not much to do, I actually signed up for some tournaments, the DBFZ and Smash ones, and I was really nervous because it was my first time playing on a tournament.

On the DBFZ I got third, which isn't bad at all. Sadly the format wasn't like I'm used to (winners and losers bracket), it was best of 3 and you got eliminated once you lost, no redemption in the losers bracket. I used A.Gohan, Goku and Vegeta, and I managed to reach semifinals where I got bodied hard by Cell, so I played the 3rd/4th set and got 3rd place, winning a Shenron figurine. For my first attempt at a tournament I was really satisfied.

But the Smash 4 tournament was a joke lol. I won the thing but I didn't feel accomplished at all, it was like playing for glory but without lag. I think the people that played me didn't even know Smash was played competitively, I had people that spammed roll, people that didn't know the shield or the grab button existed and some people that obviously hadn't played in ages (the first guy picked Meta Knight because he thought he was OP, this guy hasn't played Smash since Brawl lol). So I won playing only Shulk while my friends cheered me on my back. Got a bit of cash and some Smash merchandise (a badge of the Fire Emblem was the most noteworthy thing I guess).

It was overall a fun experience, but I'm really tired... Time to sleep I guess.

As an artist myself, I am glad this has never happened to me; that is why I am pretty reserved regarding my work. I have had bad experiences before anyway in both here and DA (And people that share my work on places like Twitter, Reddit and crap). Popularity, even if temporary, is something I never strive for, because people that cause it are the same ones that take out the joy of even working with your ideas.

Maybe if the Switch version had come out next year or the one after, but no way they were gonna give it away for free at barely 8 months into the game.
