This is mine. She doesn’t have her refine yet but when she does, she can ploy almost every unit in the game and causing them to lose 4 points in every stat.
Also in taking suggestions for b skills if anyone has them![/QUOTE]
That ain't something I'd wish on anyone. Heart goes out.
...kinda makes me want to tell some peeps I'm proud of em just, y'know, for sake of getting that out there. But...uh. Not so great at that myself, y'know? And I feel like it'd be...weird of me. So. Lemme just say this.
I love y'all. All y'all. Quirks and weirdness and beautiful things and all, I do.
You ever get down, you remember that. Red's got your back.

Katarina is one of my favs from new mistery so I'll try defend her. Going to spoiler plot related stuff since that game hasn't been localized yet
Katarina is a poor soul that needs to be protected. She joins the altean troops as a recruit together with Kris, and she acts as a tactician for the rookies (even though you are the one doing all the job). The relation she has with Kris is really important, even if they met for little time, both of them were always together and complemented each other, and their interactions were cute (even if Kris is ******** lol).
However, when Kris and the others are about to finally become knights, Katarina betrays everyone and tries to kill prince Marth, but fails. She flees then to her home, an orphan where she was treated as nothing more than an animal. Together with Clarisse and Legion, they all had to obey the orders from their mother, even though she didn't love any of them.
When she finally meets Kris again, he manages to convince Katarina to change sides, she finally found a place in the world and all thanks to the bonds they made while training to become knights. She has gone through so much **** and she deserves to be protected.
Spoilerless version, she is a cute red mage, with a great niche as a debuffer thanks to her personal tome, being able to tank magic attacks thanks to her magical bulk paired with decent offensive stats. She's a really versitale unit and if you care about her story she is one of the most interesting one's out there, even if it was only for the gaiden chapters from New Mistery.

Empathize. MSD's finally stopped obliterating our sidewalks and yards after four, maybe five months of continuous bull****, so hurrah to that, but lo and behold my neighbor began picking up the slack.
I'm not sure exactly what activity she does daily that requires music with that kind of rapid, pounding bassline but I got a real short list of candidates and they're all clothing optional.
Aw man, I don't like Game theory at all, but... this is tragic, really.
I can tell that MatPat is genuinely heartbroken over this, and I admire that he's trying to prevent such tragedies from happening again.
Oh god. I just realized I got more hyped about a miniature building getting crushed by a guy in a rubber suit than the Godzilla 2 trailer. And the monster suit has 3 heads too holy ****
Okay so, Katarina. Jojalole hit most of this, but to reiterate...
She's a victim of some pretty damn horrific abuse by her adoptive mother, Lady Eremiya. To put Eremiya into perspective...
She took in orphans like Katarina, Clarisse, and Legion only to make them into assassins, treating them as nothing but pawns. They were all repeatedly told they were worthless, offering nothing to the world than to follow orders. When the main Legion dies after fighting Marth's army, the rest of the Legions don't know what to do and basically go catatonic.
She orders Clarisse to execute them since they're no longer useful.
Just to paint a picture of what kind of person she is.
So Katarina signs up to try to join the Altean Knights, with a bunch of Marth's old war buddies giving them challenges and team building exercises and such. They're tutorial chapters, but still. There, Katarina grows close to what would become the Seventh Platoon, containing Luke, Roderick, Cecil, Ryan, and Kris. She REALLY gets close to Kris, because it's New Mystery so of course she would. However, her relationship with Kris actually feels natural and less like player ego stroking.
So she acts as the group's tactician before it's revealed she's there to assassinate Marth on Eremiya's orders. But in this time she finally found a group of people that actually care about her.
A real family.
So she flees after she's stopped, and one by one Legion and Clarisse fall. Clarisse's death in particular affects Katarina. Clarisse was beyond abusive to her, but when she was left for dead Katarina was heartbroken, since Clarisse was the closest she had to a sister. To put it into perspective, Katarina's other name, Reese, relates to Clarisse's name the same way their Japanese equivalents do (Reese and Clarisse, Eine and Kleine).
So then you have to fight her again, after she's fallen into such a state of despair at being called nothing but a puppet by Eremiya. She thinks her life is meaningless. Kris takes three turns talking her out of it and likely getting walloped by her attacks, but he or she finally gets through to her. She joins up with the army and Marth isn't even mad because he's just that great and he understands.
So basically Katarina has already suffered enough please don't fodder her lol.
Well sometimes it's a chance to introduce something classic to a new audience, Metroid Prime for example, is a classic and possibly one of the greatest games out there. iny newRereleasing it with a shiny new paint can make people go "Oh hey this game was considered really good. I should try it out!" and fans of the original are already going to eat it up because of nostalgia

Well I would think things like that are better suited for like Virtual Console personally. But since Nintendo sent that to the Shadow Realm, I guess it's not an option anymore.
I mean I don't completely hate remakes/remasters but I kinda do wish companies would tone it down. It's good in moderation. Although there is an argument to be made of not stopping something that's an easy money maker. I just want more of an emphasis on new stuff.
The Kabuto Sage Mode and the boss fight against him with Sasuke and Itachi are the only things Full Burst added. That and all costumes were unlocked from the start I believe, including DLC ones.

Thing is, virtual console was barely marketed. How many people, let alone casual fans, would go "Oh boy, I can't wait to buy that game on the virtual console!"? Not many judging from how little talk about the VC I see.
