So one of the currently in development Nintendo Switch emulators just recently got it's first fully 3D game rendering 3D graphics. The game in question is One Piece: Unlimited World Red.

The graphics are very buggy and the performance isn't great but it's still a huge step for Switch emulation.

It also got us this beauty - "Gum-Gum Fruit gone wrong".

So I got this ROM hack of Pokémon Yellow called Evo-Yellow, which looks to be one of the best Yellow hacks I've ever seen. Pikachu evolves, all 151 plus Johto-mons catchable, some rebalances to certain Pokémon, and the most unique thing- multiple Shiny variations for each Pokémon, like Purple Pikachu.

Decided that, considering my last Let's Play & Post went to ****, I'd retry with this.

Basically, Trinen stated that we aren't getting more info about the Smash Ultimate roster until it's closer to its release date. Guess this means we can't expect Smash Ultimate news this month.

He also stated that the developers are currently undecided on DLC. We'll probably learn about that near the release time, though I still think it's pretty likely.

So, one rule I decided to hoist onto myself is the rule of purple. That's right- I'm only using purple Pokémon. Because of the multicolored shinies, and the drastically reduced value of finding them, I will add a pic as evidence to prove that they are purple.

Without further ado, here we go.

Spoiler: Evo-Yellow Team Progress (Cerulean City)

1). Raichu

-Thundershock
-Thunderwave
-Hidden Power Grass
-Quick Attack

Thoughts: Evolved by friendship rather then Thunderstone. Took me by surprise. She's pretty tough now as a result. The Hidden Power seems to be fixed, which is awesome because HP Grass is perfect on Raichu.
2). Noctowl

-Lick
-Gust
-Roost
-Hidden Power (???)

Thoughts: Love the typing. Believe it or not, being a ghost was hard in the start. Rattata are Alolan-based, and most Pokémon had an answer to it. Regardless, Noctowl is pretty tough and puts in a lot of work.
3). Nidorino

-Peck
-Double Kick
-Poison Sting
-Focus Energy

Thoughts: Nidoran (M) is one of the best Pokemon to catch at the start. In this game its really not too different. Despite numerous choices- Nidoran was my choice once again. Will evolve Nidorino into Nidoking after I confirm its learnpool.
4). Snubbull (Evolves into Purple Grandbull)

-Bite
-Leer
-Lick

Thoughts: I heard it evolves into a Dark/Fairy-Type. Really wanna try that out. Nothing else to add for now.

I have noted that Riolu is in this game but has no location. I'll see to finding and capturing a purple one if possible.

Basically, Trinen stated that we aren't getting more info about the Smash Ultimate roster until it's closer to its release date. Guess this means we can't expect Smash Ultimate news this month.

He also stated that the developers are currently undecided on DLC. We'll probably learn about that near the release time, though I still think it's pretty likely.

Which I think is a wasted opportunity.

Like, why hype us up with a minute-long trailer, then make us wait for 3 months, then casually drop the biggest, most unexpected bombs, then give us absolutely nothing for another few months?

I get that the lack of knowledge can hype up a lot of people, but it's also a bad marketing move.

Then again, having every veteran back, not to mention that it's Smash, already means it's pretty much destined to sell millions.

it's a real question though, it's not me pulling something out of a hat and going "let me complain!"

those UBs and their design have always struck me as weird, I'll be on showdown (just was yesterday, saw all of them!!) and I'll see them and I can't even pronounce their name or recognize what they're supposed to be, I've always thought they've been out of place in Pokemon and since the thread is dead, why not put in those two cents?? it might be something cool to discuss, I didn't know the first one was resembling firework wrapping and now that I know it's a bit cooler to me

...alright fine. Fine that's fair.

Most important thing to remember with UBs is that these things are supposed to be alien. They're aliens. Looking weird by comparison is literally the point - that's why they're called Ultra Beasts to begin with. Until the S/M endgame and US/UM they weren't recognizable as Pokes - even by Poke Balls, which is why their capture rate with anything but a Beast Ball is trash.

Putting eyes on a flower crown still came out better than putting eyes on a gear, or an ice cream cone, or a literal stomach. Probably about on par with the garbage bag.

As for the fire/grass starters...nah, no justification, all the Alolan starters came out pretty awesome. Ding dong your opinion is wrong.

I doubt there is no decision on DLC. There is no way they aren’t doing it, it worked to well last time and has even more potential here.
