That was my jam as a kid. Pokémon, Jackie Chan Adventures, Batman, Static Shock, Ozzie and Drix (can we just talk about how Osmosis Jones got a tv spin off for a minute?), and probably others I forget. Pretty much the Saturday Morning Cartoon channel for me as a youngster.

The first Infraction I got was when I quoted Ura's Pokemon rap post in the Competitive V4 Analysis Thread.

The other was when I acted weird in Shishœ's 2nd Fate mafia ( You saw it Uni. ).

Yeah I've heard horror stories of SSMB's mods being power hungry.

From my experience, I wouldn't even call them that. They were just plain close-minded jerks. They were often driving the arguments there. Someone said something they didn't agree with about a Sonic game and they would write essays peppered with insults and swears directed at the person they were responding to.

And since they were mods, and since some of them were involved in fan projects and such, they had this automatic, unwavering respect from a lot of the community just for being a part of those projects. And they could of course infract anyone just for a difference in opinion.

I won't say I have 100% enjoyed Smashboards, and I've had my disagreements with mods in the past (though some I now feel were unwarranted and I can say I was in the wrong or overreacting), but I at least can say that they actually do their job properly, and when they do mess up, it's an honest mistake. Clique mentalities exist here, but I feel the mods here try to actually discourage that behaviour rather than instigate it outright and form cliques around themselves.

So good job for not being complete jerks, Smashboards mods. Keep it up.
