Dog is scaring me again. She's no longer vomiting but tonight how tired she's acting tonight is very uncomfortable.

Going to take her to the vet tomorrow.

So a recent Kirby: Star Allies video has revealed all the Helpers, in turn revealing all of the copy abilities in the game:

Chef Kawasaki is back!!!

...Though I am disappointed that Archer Kirby won't be in this game. That's my favorite ability.:(

Do these characters have the same moveset as the Kirby power ups or do they differ in some way?

Siivagunner had a panel at some convention and actually filled the room.

I didn't watch it all ( skipped around) but it didn't seem to bad, was more on the history and what goes into the channel.

I can't believe this actually happened though.

I'm noticing a lot of Kirby's attacks so it seems like the former.

Wouldn't surprise me if they have their own little nuances, though.

I just had a huge trip down Memory Lane watching this. Seeing all of the different partners and seeing returning ones from Super Star, including Birdon, Knuckle Joe, Bio Spark, and even Gim. Also great to see that Mid-bosses like Buggzy and Bonkers coming back and Chef Kawasaki is a new one.
Looking at the list, the only ones from Super Star that don't return are:
-Simirror
-Capsule J
-Wheelie
-Plasma Wisp(replaced by Plugg, the one with the Plasma/Spark ability)
-TAC
Which is sad....especially no TAC. Cause TAC was frickin' fun. And Wisp and Capsule J too. And no potential Wheelie riding.
Also, some trivia:
Helpers that haven't shown up since Super Star: Gim, Birdon, Burning Leo, Buggzy, Chef Kawasaki.
Helper that only showed up in Kirby 64 as an enemy: Plugg
Appeared after Super Star, but first 3D Appearance: Bio Spark.
Characters that appeared in Super Star, but weren't a helper: Broom Hatter, Chef Kawasaki.

Fianlly, Chef Kawaskai was way overdue in the Kirby games! Shame that Archer is gone though, but the game does look really solid.

Is she known for eating stuff she shouldn’t? Has she had loose stool? Loose stool and/or vomiting can be a sign of an intestinal blockage. Definitely get her looked at.

I finally clicked the “important: carefully ask ppmd about the tiara guy” thread on the home page and it was so much less interesting than I’d hoped

that thread title conjures up an incredible story in my mind

You could have tag me you know?
I know, but I just didn't want to, lol.
I don't know what Mythra said to you, so if I say some stuff he already said, then I am sorry in advance.

Also, my tips aren't any "proper" than others tips you might have seen. The thing is, we don't know yet if the RNG in Xenoblade 2 work in some way, or is just totally up to luck. Some peoples can't get KOS-MOS while being at the endgame and using legendary crystal. While others did get her as soon as chapter 2 or halfway through the game.
Yeah, I already know that, both my brother and sis got Nim around chapter 2.... but when about that I will kind rant more later.

Well here the tips that Mythra Mythra gave:
- completing merc ranks... I already did and know why, it can expand your blade capacity and complete Roc's affinity chart.
- I reaching to resonate blade limit, release one common blade at a time when resonating core crystals
- Keep Dark element blades regardless of their rank, this also applies to keep electric and earth blades if I want to get Nim.
- If I have to release non dark blades, release at most 5 at a time.
- Equip accessories and blades that boosts luck
- Resonate core crystal with Zeke... I guess it's because Zeke has the highest Justice level right off the bat. But still... I actually already got plenty of rare Blades from Zeke...I'll give him that.

You could have just tell me to watch video... But again I tend not to because of one thing: spoilers....
Which is a bit sad that you can easily get spoiled even by just looking at some late game screenshots
I did saw a video in my YT recommendation that shows you how to get all rare Blades, I clicked it and instant regret because he shows late in the game where some characters don't look familiar to me (Not gonna say who they are), fortunately I only glimpses for one sec and immediately swash out. It didn't ruin my will to finish the game or trying to know what happens but unfortunately I got spoiled to some extent... and no even though I got spoil I was still surprised what happened during chapter 6...

So if you can you can help me watch those video since you already complete the game, and tell me some proper tips, hope this isn't a hassle to you though.

This once again reminds me a while ago some railed a complaint at me that you need to check guides in Xenoblade 2 and its bad because you will see spoilers... I actually agree that when it comes to XC2 it is just easy to get spoiled, even for an JRPG.
Just seeing some party members that you thought it isn't is just a harsh.
Nevertheless, I still stand by that checking guides in order to 100% complete the game is a norm and shouldn't be complain.

In any case, here all the tip I can give you:

-Advance in the game, yes, I know what I said before. But something tell me that, as more as you advance in the game, the more chance you have to get the blades you want.
And you might have heard me said it before as well that I want to escape that RNG hell before entering chapter 7...
I mean I also understand that some blade's affinity will stay ??? if you haven't to that certain chapter or location. I also aware some rare Blade's quest also requires certain chapter reached in order to trigger, I already have plenty of them triggered or can be completed in that chapter, so right now unless if I have to I won't advance the story until I got Nim and KOS MOS, or at least one of those two.

I also know why... since you mention...
-Salvage alot to get lots of item that you can exchange for boosters. If you want a ground blade, using alot of boosters of that element to increase your chance to get blade.
Urgh...
Thanks for the tip, but I have been salvaging like... everytime I am playing XC2!
More like if you want an earth or electric rare Blade, boosting Compassion is the key...
Nevertheless I found out that getting Compassion and Justice booster is hard to get in almost every region's salavage exchange before chapter 7.... I also get that there will be more set available the more your progress the story.

-Fill up your current blades, rare or commons, affinity chart, so that, your level of "justice", "ideas" and other stats like that will go uo, increasing again your chance to get a blade of a certain type along with the boosters.
Yeah, I think that sending common blades to merc mission is probably the easiest way, whether it is faster still depends.

-Get Legendary or Rare Core, the easiest way is to pull alot of driver combo on Unique monsters of high level. The best monsters to farm being the baby ardun once leveled up, and a really easy superbosses in Tantal. However, the later is only open at the very end of the game. And the former can only be here if you haven't killed him and given all the food he want until he become a unique monster.
You mean do the entire driver combo right?
And I also notice salvaging in low level of Mor Ardain has Krabbles that has common and rare core crystals pretty often.
Oh yeah, forgot about that ardun for awhile, gonna go and find food...

-Increase your luck state, there is two way to do this. By putting equipements that increase your luck, and putting common blades that increase your luck too.
Yeah, I already know that.

Anyways thanks for the tips, probably the most important one is find food for that Ardun... might take a while to search it...
Man, pulling a full burst with 8 orbs is the greatest feeling ever. When I start my new game +, I will have to do that on the final boss, just for the sake of it.
Yeah, but sometimes you can do full burst at least with 4. Depending whether my Dahlia can break 3 of them at once or not.
You know what screw it breaking 3 orbs at once is even more satisfying.

I think Nintendo is both for kids and teens/adults. So yes, for everyone. What's wonderful about Nintendo games is that they are popular amongst all age ranges because of how well-made they are, how fun they are, nostalgia factor, etc. Your first friend who called you a Nintendo fanboy doesn't seem to be willing to see anything from your perspective. There are people like that everywhere, unfortunately.

As far as your second friend is concerned, I wouldn't say Mario games are only meant for kids anyway. People of all ages have been playing Mario games even as far back as 1981. They're well-made, fun, even better with friends...just because something doesn't have overly dark themes or consistently dim colors for graphics and designs doesn't make it only for kids.

tl;dr Mario is for everyone, and writing off an entire company or franchise simply for perceiving it as a "kids" game, is shallow.
I just wanna say... my parents think video games overall are just for kids... so don't really take those people's opinions seriously if they didn't like video game in the first place.
Futhermore, I dislike those who already dislike something and tries to shove its opinion to others... that's not how debating works... and my parent are notorious for doing that, sometimes it makes but most of the times it's really more of BS rather than trying to convince me that video games are just for kids.

I got Mythra to S rank, now I'm wondering how long is the grind gonna be for S+.

I can probably steamroll through most things now either way, but I need... to go even further beyond.

Opening 99 Commons and getting taunted by Agate does not hurt that much. But **** her; I need Keen Eye

Rev up those Noponchos and Veg & Oyster Aspics (and a ****ton of candy because why not?)
It took me half an hour per S Level; from S9 to S+ takes longer apparently.

I actually nerfed my S+ Mythra a bit to make the game more challenging by changing some equipment as she absolutely **** over any enemy really fast.

Oh Jesus **** I thought S to S+ was just one rank progression. Now I'm finding out there's 9 ****ing ranks between those two.
We need a new direct soon.
Switch maintenance on the 21st means a Direct soon, clearly.

I thought the article would be on the level of those Christian Gaming site articles that mixed up characters and were blantantly wrong, but it's nowhere near that bad. The Emily post from January tho. lol

So.

I'm doing an assignment with my kiddos where they have to guess whether a fact is true or not.

This is done to make sure they understand the value of sources.

Wanna give it a shot guys?

Okay here's the activity.

I have nine facts here.

Six are true but three are false.

Students then need to guess which ones are which.

Now because we're on the internet, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO LOOK THESE THINGS UP.

And be sure to put your answers in spoilers so other people aren't persuaded.

Any-who.

Here are the facts.

  1. In 1775, George Washington married Mary Prescott.
  2. Chinese Fortune Cookies are not actually Chinese.
  3. There are things smaller than atoms.
  4. The film, Wreck-It Ralph was directed by Rich Moore.
  5. One species of salamander can grow up to 1.5 meters (or almost five feet) long.
  6. Camels with one hump can grow a second hump if they get old enough.
  7. White sand at beaches is actually made up of parrot fish droppings.
  8. Pterodactyls were flying dinosaurs.
  9. There are at least five hairless dog breeds in existence.

I know 1 and 2 are false, and I'm guessing 6 is the other false one.

How close did I get?

Here are the facts.
  1. In 1775, George Washington married Mary Prescott. True. No solid evidence, just a memory spark.
  2. Chinese Fortune Cookies are not actually Chinese. True. Invented stateside.
  3. There are things smaller than atoms. True. Protons, electrons, neutrons, etc. And quarks.
  4. The film, Wreck-It Ralph was directed by Rich Moore. False. Gut feeling.
  5. One species of salamander can grow up to 1.5 meters (or almost five feet) long. True. Admittedly guessing.
  6. Camels with one hump can grow a second hump if they get old enough. False. I think.
  7. White sand at beaches is actually made up of parrot fish droppings. False. I hope.
  8. Pterodactyls were flying dinosaurs. True. The Land Before Time was a documentary, right? /s
  9. There are at least five hairless dog breeds in existence. True. Process of elimination, could be wrong.

What?

Oh **** I missed the "not" part in number two. >_<

I'll guess 7 or 8 because one deals with poop and the other seems too obvious so one has to be fake.

My general culture knowledge is really poor, but I'll give it a shot

The trues are:

1: Know anything about American history, so wild guess
3: I think quarks are smaller...
4: Don't really remember who directed the film, loved it though
5: I'm sure there's something like that in Australia hahaha
8: I'm pretty sure on this one
9: Wild guess

The false:

2: This one was trough elimination process, and I think it would be hilarious if it were true
6: If this one is true I'll rethink my life choices
7: This looks too weird to be true, but hey, we live in a strange world.
