Beat the Prologue, some thoughts:
-FE4 surely knows how to get me turned on within seconds of it starting: with worldbuilding all thrown into the opening. History! Lore! Politics! Naming the continent! God this is so ****ing hot
-Arvis mentioning hearing rumors that Azel was in Sigurd's army sort of implies that the battle has been going on for quite a while. I know these maps are gigantic but I still can't picture them as these country spanning stuff they actually are(I know Ch1 is just one entire ****ing kingdom on its own and that's wild).
-This is the original Horse Emblem. Holy **** is Canto broken. I love Canto in this game though, actually allows me to use Hit and Run tactics which are something I'd love to be able to do more in other FE games. Player Phase is clearly favored here because the sheer number of enemies makes you thin out their numbers before bracing yourself to the EP.

First two new support conversations are out for the new Warriors DLC.

First is Linde and Niles being part of the patented No Parents Club, and the other has Linde trying Brynhildr while Leo tries out Aura.

Biggest takeaways:
- Like with Ephraim, Intelligent Systems can't make up their mind on how to pronounce Brynhildr.
- I feel vindicated that I've been pronouncing Linde correctly (Lyn'd, not Linda).

Interesting to note that apparently the dimension Fates happens in is apparently considered a fairy tale land in Marth's time as well. Or at least it seems as such, based on what Linde says early on in the support with Leo.

First, the hints from Chrom in the Before Awakening Xenologue now this.
I'd say it'd be a pretty funny twist if we fpund out Fates is really just some old book in Archanea canon.

Yeah, I saved the page with all the special events and his was the first one. Just like FE7 and FE6, I don't plan on missing anything.

The Mega Man X games will be released in 2 collections, much like it's classic counterpart.

Is this a good idea? Mega Man X has a bit of a reputation for having both the best and worst games in the entire franchise. Notably there's 8 main games in the series and only the first four are looked at fondly, while the latter games are way more divisive, with X6 and X7 being bottom of the barrel and X5 and X8 being either mediocre or underrated depending on who you ask. But I guess with the big Mega Man thirst still needing to be quenched, it's probably not gonna matter much. Especially with Switch offering portability on these games.

In other "news", wow does Dynasty Warriors 9 look bland. As someone who doesn't mind the grinding or repetitiveness of the games, stuff like the huge open world and other new features they stuck in there feel like they're there just to say they're there. I also do not like the drab color palette (it's been a while since I played Warriors Orochi 3 but I don't remember that one looking so brown.)

Maybe like Atlantis? I mean, if we look at part of Fates' story, Anankos is "one of the first dragons." Who knows, maybe Hoshido and Nohr were once a real place, but overtime, the two eventually disappeared and both are now considered a "myth."
And yes, I know we can't really take Fates' story seriously, but much like how Awakening got a bit of shedded backstory on Grima and whatnot with Echoes, we could always get some "much needed' backstory on Fates.

Oh damn. What's so terrible about DW9? From what I've seen I've been turned off by the voice changes and cloning first impressions. Cloning I could maybe get behind since I main only one character. I was kinda open to the open world.

I'll probably look up more reviews but doesn't seem like it has enough for me to move on from DW8 and WO3.

I feel your pain, it was pretty difficult trying to get to my seat for the movie- much more for others since they couldn't find they're seat, so the first 5-10 minutes of the movie wasn't too memorable with all the distractions: v

I'm thinking X1-X3 (SNES era) and X4-X8 (PS era) is also a possibility.

The SNES games are highly regarded and could probably sell themselves alone. The PS ones are more of a hard sell if you leave out X4 so bundling them together would make sense to me.
