I'm in the Simon route myself. Besides the moveset being easier for me to picture(Bomberman is cool, but I find it harder to balance him around nothing but bombs. Not saying he can't be, it's obviously just my personal bias/opinion. And I like the character too!), yeah, Captain N is part of why. The other is I love the series.

I rather thought like a Metroid game but with Tetsuya Takahashi's philosophical and character development approaches.

It's a bit of a hard sell since the last time we had a Metroid game with "character development" it was rather polarizing to put it lightly. Thing is, the Xeno games have a very social dynamic which is a very stark contrast to Metroid where often times Samus is the only sentient person the player ever encounters throughout the entire game, with just a few exceptions.

If implemented correctly it can definitely work, and it would be interesting to see. One thing that the Xenoblade series does well are sidequests. If Metroid can implement additional sidequests that can help to add to the player's experiences with other characters or perhaps help with world building and expanding on in-game lore as Metroid is a series that does very well in these areas, as opposed to character development.

Shoes work sometimes. I often go barefoot or with socks on myself. Like, if you have a party going on, shoes might be more appropriate, same if you're going in and out of the house(including for said party).

last time someone walked in socks in our hallway with socks on, the floor decided to be slippy and make said person fall on tile and cut her hand on a crystal lamp

I usually run with option 3.

Rarely, when I'm in the mood for Deadpool bunny slippers, I'll run option 2.

They don't need to come to your city. They can just send furniture there, you'll end up buying one of them at one point, and then when you least expect it, your poor toes will suffer.

That was how the episode went. They made some possessed furniture, then sent them all around the world to bump poor toes. The reason they failed was because apparently, Americans wear their shoes indoors, protecting their feet and making the furniture powerless, thus their plan was a failure.

Reading the article it's about copyright stuff that are attached to certain memes, not banning memes, which sounds pretty misleading. There's also citations from people who'd be affected claiming stuff like "The internet is too broad to be properly regulated" or "Google and Facebook are insanely rich companies, they should pay the costs for memes on Youtube or Facebook". The latter quote is from a musician who's also frustrated that people can listen to her music on youtube and could be very popular but she doesn't get a single cent of it yet the companies of the sites get money

Course Google could pay all that ****, its already a well documented fact Google could actually pay a team of humans to actually review copyright strikes and stuff on Youtube, instead of using bots.
