The only people who'd complain whine that Yooka Laylee is too political for not having someone who spewed hate speech be in the game, Wolfenstein is too political for killing nazis, thinks any random indie game is too political for adding 'they' as a pronoun option, whine that Bill Nye betrayed them by using actual science about climate change, gender and sex and claim soy is feminizing men because it contains oestrogen and apparently that's all that needs to be said instead of y'know, actual science. Then those very same people will tell you Captain America (which was made because 2 Jewish comic makers were frustrated that America refused to help Europe during WWII while people were being slaughtered), Godzilla (which has a constant "Nuclear weaponry is terrible" theme and initially didn't do well due to Japan feeling the topic was too soon after the atom bombs they got), Metal Gear Solid (a franchise that CONSISTENTLY goes "War is hell" and has Phantom Pain's true ending restricted to the online multiplayer if everyone gets rid of their nukes iirc), Robocop (which is so clearly "Capitalism is flawed and we shouldn't let it go too far" that you need to be blind and deaf to not catch those when watching the movie), ****ing science (which CAN be political) and many many more were never political until those evil feminists arrived in 2010. Maybe I'm just mad that I saw some MAGAdite say Kamen Rider fought Antifa in the OG series when the evil organization were literally involved with nazis or that Ultraman despite it's constant environment themes and **** isn't political. I'm just very miffed about how all these chuckle****s are in denial that yes, politics exist in media and science
