Long story short, you can use the skills of other units and give them to a unit of your choice.

That's how the builds we show have different skills than what the unit usually offers. In my case, the best example of this is my VaLyntine, since the only skill from her default toolkit I kept is Armor March. Everything else is different. You can even look up her default skills if you don't believe me.

Also, I'm starting to think that only telling you stuff in chunks rather than one huge post tends to make you more likely to read our stuff, so I'll keep doing that and not explain how to get to Skill Inheritance until my next post :V

Male Kana is gonna show up soon, so Brazen Def/Res will be up for grabs.

Wouldn't synergize with QR, but rather make her tankier when she's no longer in QR range.

I guess Brazen Def/Res is an option, though I prefer Brazen on Vantage/Desperation units

I honestly don't mind the fury/quick reposte combo, since normally I use those units just one time on the map. For example I have a fury Nowi with QR that I only use on arena assault and it works extremely well. But I agree that overall it doesn't have good sinergy. The best A skill for that enemy phase Tana has to be Close Defense. Staking all those defenses she would have +19 defense when getting attacked, which is great. Though Vidofnir is asking for a refinement too, it's effect it's a bit bad compared to the weapons we are getting nowadays.

Also, the worst problem with budget skills is that none of them are for enemy phase. All the stances and defenses are locked behind five stars units, so enemy phase units normally run fury because of lack of better skills in the 4 star pool. The only budget skill I can think of is probably fortress defense (that's what my Xander has and it's honestly great). I think Fury is good as it is on that build for now.

Vidofnir is fine though, it's certainly not as bad as Yato or Cursed Lance.

But yeah, I guess it's hard to get good EP skills since most are 5*-exclusive and rare enough that you won't go around giving them to anyone.

Maybe not Desperation if the speed isn't good enough, but I definitely see the value for Vantage. Especially if the unit has a Distant Counter weapon.

Anyway, Skill Inheritance is pretty simple to understand... sorta.

Allies > Advanced Growth > Inherit Skill

You'll see two blank slots on top. You choose the units you want to mess around with, left one being the one who inherits skills and the one on the right being the one who donates their skills.

Just take note that the one on the right will be removed once the inheriting is done, so be careful.

With that said, it's not always necessary to do that. Brave Lyn in particular has a pretty solid toolkit by default, so she'll do fine with what she comes bundled with.

I disagree. Vidofnir only gives +7 defense on enemy phase and only when attacked by either sword, lance or axe. It's pretty underwhelming in my opinion. You can take a slaying lance, and give it a defense refine and you'll lose on 3 defense, but you'll gain 5 HP, so overall you gain 2 points of defense by using a slaying lance, that way it would work on both phases and you would have a cooldown reduction. Furthermore, that defense also works against daggers and bows compared to the defense that Vidofnir gives. I honestly don't know how you consider it as fine seeing the insane weapons we have on the game. Vidofnir needs something to fight all the power creep.

Though yeah, cursed lance and yato are still worse.

Its usually ending up in the typical harem manga situation, only he's trying to get the girls to leave him alone, so he can get on with his life, but everything he does just makes them more attracted to him. Don't know how it ends, but hope he found a boyfriend, so the girls will leave him alone.

I was doing the Water Blessing quest on Valter's GHB to get an extra copy and Fjorm survived with 1 HP thanks to Ice Mirror, bless the clutch

+7 Def is crazy, it's a slightly better Close Def 3 except without the useless Res. And you sure as hell shouldn't be using Tana to tank Bows anyways.
The fact Tana can get +19 Def when paired with Close Def on the A and Seal slots is crazy good and makes her one of the best Flying tanks despite her base 25 Def. Then you add in Fortify Fliers and she can reach 50 Def, without having to sacrifice her Atk and Spd stats.

It's not crazy broken like recent Prf weapons have been but it's a highly usable and simple effect that isn't made pointless by new additions.

I guess Brazen Def/Res is an option, though I prefer Brazen on Vantage/Desperation units.

I feel Brazen skills only benefit Vantage and Desperation when they work with them, which DEF/RES doesn't really. Brazen ATK/SPD or ATK/DEF works great with Vantage while ATK/SPD works best with Desperation. I should know due to my awesome Lyn with Sol Katti Forged, Brazen ATK/SPD and Vantage.

Brazen DEF/RES I feel works on Mixed Tanks, like for example:
-Hardin, Grima, Gwendolyn, Sheena, V!Eliwood, H!Jakob and Winter Lissa for Armors.
-Selena, M!Kana, Summer Robin, Joshua, Fjorm, Hawkeye, Lissa, and Faye for Infantry.
-Camilla, Narcian and Myrrh for Fliers.
-Berkut and Spring Xander.

Than there's the Units with a forged Berkut's Lance. Let's look at Oboro with a forged Berkut's Lance. She will have 35 DEF and 35 RES at neutral each when attacked. Combined with Brazen DEF/RES, she'll have 42 DEF/RES each. Than add in Close/Distant Defense. That'll reach 48 DEF/RES depending on the foe. Than have a unit with DEF & RES Tactics. Oboro will reach 54 DEF/RES against a Close/Distant opponent.

Either way, Brazen DEF/RES will be something very fun to try out.

Nope. There's no PVP. However, in some events, you can have your friend's units join you and you can use them.
