But it's kinda ironic that the guy who has the easiest time with school (due to both having the highest grades and being at a much lower year) is the one saying school can be difficult.

True, but still ironic.

That's fair enough.
Stoopid.
Even the smarter people have challenges. Since they are smarter, they are tasked with gifted work that could be difficult for them sometimes.
Yes.
I mean I had to type a science lab report that was fourteen pages long in the middle of the night some months ago.
Thankfully I got an A on it.
It was supposed to be a few pages, but I went a bit overboard because there were so many directions.

Fourteen pages?

What the actual ****?

I'm having trouble with stuff that has less pages than that, so this legit makes me feel inferior.

Still pretty insane.

Yes.

The school even said I have a good chance of going to the National Honors Society in the future.

If you can make 14 pages out of something that only needed a handful, then you're just proving my point that school is like, the easiest **** ever for you.
I pulled a lot of that **** in school myself.

Could just be loquacious or hyper-interested in a subject. Doesn't mean everything's cake.

Hah. "Gifted." "Straight A student."

I was told I was all those things in elementary school.

Then I went to middle school and got called lazy when my grades weren't completely perfect.

Then by high school I really was lazy because by that point we were being re-taught stuff from like middle school and I just didn't give a ****.

I know I'm a little late to this (that's pretty much normal for me nowadays tbh), but I have mixed feelings on the new legendary banner.
On one hand, another Lyn seems kind of unnecessary at this point.
On the other hand, I now have another chance to get Halloween Henry, which is good because I missed him back during the Halloween banner, and I would like to have an additional unit with armored march. I'd also like to get Jakob since I missed out on him, but he's less of a priority for me. I also have nearly 100 orbs now, so it feels like I should spend it on something. So I'm probably going to be sniping greens this time. Although, this will be the first Legendary banner I've summoned on since the Ike one, because, at the time of the Ephiraim and F!Grima banners, Valentines Hector and Delthea were greater priorities for me, respectively. I didn't have the best luck back on the Ike banner, so I hope that this one goes better this time.

School can be a breeze and exhausting.

Me liking school has evolved me. I have a lot of details and I am a fast typer.
In fact, I do not like staying home from school because of the work you have to catch up on though.
If I am offered to stay home from school, I refuse. I only stay home from school if I am truly sick.

Making A's is not easy, even gifted students have to put in work.

I sit at a 3.7 GPA and that's all hard work and more lucky BS that I can count.

Ever since I got spoiled majorly by opening a spoiler tag I stay far, far away from any sort of those things.

If I could have one super power, it would be to avoid spoilers.

So while I'm still on my Pokemon opening kick, here's a neat thing I learned about this one.

While watching the English and Japanese OPs I noticed that most of the scenes in this particular intro do not show up in the original intros at all. Which led me to find out most of the scenes are original and were done just for this intro.

And so far, it's the only English dubbed intro for Pokemon to have original scenes done for it, as all of them before and after this one just take scenes from the original openings or episodes. It's kind of a testament to how huge Pokemon was at the time, that they'd go as far as to make their own scenes for an intro (although they used a couple scenes from episodes and an OP which is a bit weird.)

Hell, I don't think that sort of thing even happens with dubbed anime in general at all. They all either use the original openings or make original ones with pre-existing scenes.

Anyways this post is embarrassingly long now whoops.
Damn the Johto openings feel the most nostalgic for me. I mean Kanto and the Orange Islands are nostalgic yes but Johto reminds me of the tail end of the original series.

I remember how sad I was as a kid when Ash parted ways with Brock and Misty. I think I even stopped watching after that lol.

I do not want to try being social, but I feel like I should.
I have better priorities in life I feel like.

Being a "straight A student" sucks, I never once studied during Middle School for tests so when High School came it hit me like a truck because I actually had to put in effort and I didn't know how to do it because I never had to before, so now I'm in college and I still don't know what "studying" entails.

Welcome to the "hierarchy of needs"

The bottom 2, at your age, are generally going to be by your family (hopefully). The VERY NEXT thing on the list of importance is relationships. That means socializing and making friends. Congrats, it should probably be one of your highest priorities.

Take it from a guy who thought the same thing as you for years and is regretting every second of it.

Studying is just cramming the hour before and getting a good grade anyway. :denzel:

I saw, I told my brother before we walked in that Black Panther's Marvel's Golden boi, he can't get killed.

Welp.

I wonder if there will be an alternate continuity or something, but I like the Soul Stone idea. So glad Red Skull finally showed up, Nazi *******.

And yes, I hope this sets up the final show for the OG cast. Make Cap. and Stark go out like heroes.

I dodn't follow the books, so what are those stories?
Without giving away too much since it may be adapted into the films (the snap, for example, was a huge plot point in the Infinity Gauntlet book), they've been setting up for Scarlet Witch to have her mental breakdown, which is a key part of Disassembled.

Yes. I should.
I was told many times about it in IRL that I need a friend.
I am just so unwilling.

To be fair, I don't really have any IRL friends and I do okay for myself. Then again I am something of an anti-social. Not like super anti-social but someone who doesn't socialize outside school/work.

Never applies to me unfortunately. :ohwell:

I would like a peer as a friend, but there are two options.

One is older than me and likes video games a lot, and is really soft and nice. He is quite busy it seems like though.

One is more older than the first guy and me likes to play Smash Bros with me a lot, it is just he seems to like attention from a lot of other guys as well.
