1- Xenoblade Chronicles 2
This is the true goty, a total masterpiece. I've talked enough in this site about how much I love Xenoblade, so I think there's no need for further explanation.
2-Super Mario Odyssey
It's not the game I wanted it to be, yet it was a total blast to play. Beautiful scenario, beautiful music, amazing gameplay... One of the greatest game I've ever played. Sadly, I feel it was way too short, as gathering moons doesn't feel rewarding at all, which is my main complain with the game compared to Sunshine or 64. Still, I bought the Switch to play two games, Xenoblade and Mario Odyssey, and neither let me down.
3-Sonic Mania
Yes, I love platformers. It's my favourite genre, yet I somehow missed Yokaa Laylee and A Hat in Time. But not my boy Sonic. I do normally prefer 3D Sonic, but I also love 2D Sonic, and Mania is just a beautiful game, with such great ideas and with great execution. The soundtrack is amazing, the originality of the levels is astounding, and playing it for the first time I had a smile in my face that I could not take away. A great game overall, and truly a love letter to us Sonic fans!
4-Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
I can't believe I almost forgot this game was released this year, because of the Switch nonsense that happened, but this game is great. I have problems with it, mainly the map desing (because maps that are 20 years old haven't aged well at all), but everything else was just astounding. All FE games from now on should take the presentation route of this game, because all the voice acting was insane, the scenarios were fantastic, and it was presented very well. Can't wait for FE Switch!
5-Fire Emblem Warriors
I honestly didn't think I'd like this game as much as I did. It was my first Warriors, and the roster wasn't that great... But then Lyndis appeared and cleared all my doubts. This game is surprisingly fun, and the interactions between characters was great, specially the support conversations. The soundtrack was also magnificent, and I'm pretty satisfied with the game. Also, have I said that Lyn is in the game and that she's my favourite?
6-Zelda Breath of the Wild
I don't think this game is the masterpiece everyone say it is, but I had fun with it nonetheless. I think it has the best tutorial of any videogame ever, because those first hours in the plateau are the best memories I have from the game. I have plenty of problems with this game, but the world building is great, and the physics amazed me. Also, being the first game on the Switch, I think it was a great experience to try the new console.
7-Crash Nsane Trilogy
I love platformers, and Crash was my childhood, so having him back it's great. Shame it's just a compilation of games, but they're so good I don't care. I'm still as good as I was at Crash 2, and I managed to finally beat Crash 1! This brought back so many memories, hope one day they manage to make a new game.
8-Uncharted The Lost Legacy
Uncharted is one of my favourite franchises, and Chloe was actually my favourite character of the franchise, so seeing her starring a game was mindblowing to me. The game falls short compared to other Uncharted games (specially 2 and 4), but it's still a great game overall.
9-Sonic Forces
Despite all the bad things the game has done (Which is plenty by the way) I actually had fun with it. Shame the level desing was such trash, but the soundtrack was great. It's weird, I can't think of many more good things about it, yet I had fun playing it. STRANGE ISN'T IT???
10-Splatoon 2
After Splatoon on WiiU, I was eager to play the second part, but I didn't feel as engaged as I thought I would be. It's still the same Splatoon, but I stopped playing it way sooner compared to the original one. Still, I remember it being as fun as ever.
HONORABLE MENTION:
Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2, I know Capcom has released it, and I know I would have loved it, BUT THEY DON'T WANT MY MONEY SO I CAN'T BUY IT! PLEASE CAPCOM, PLEASE! #LocalizeDGS
