So when I first started the Summons, I had around 167 Orbs. I now have around 64. Luckily, there are the new Chapters to do, as well as more Tempest and the Grand Battle/Alfonse missions. But I still do want to have some Orbs ready for the Christmas Banner and the potential Legendary Banner coming at the end of December.

What did I get from the Banner?:

-Hawkeye
-Beruka
-Mathilda

-Mae

-Cain(Can finally give Wings of Mercy 3 to Azura)

-Ike with +HP/-Res. I'll take that over the -Spd one plz.

Either way, some good drops for both characters and skill fodder. -Atk Ayra makes me sad, but getting the other Ike with a -ATK or -SPD negative was nice, as well as +Spd B.Caeda. The game also wants me to use Glimmer, as I have a whole bunch of Berukas.
But unless I get a whole bunch of Orbs within the next week, I don't think I'm going to try and spend more Orbs on the Banner. Getting Ike, Ayra and B.Caeda feels satisfying enough. I feel like doing more might prevent me from being prepared enough for the Christmas & 2nd Fjorm Banner.

Today's summonings sucked, gave Glimmer to Nino and Joshua because why not, my stock is not ending any time soon. Camilla isn't even useful as a skill fodder why is this game so cruel.
I finally sacced my Dorcas and gave QR3 to Joshua, Reposition from Barst and Threaten Spd 3 from a Selena I got later.

Silver lining from this whole disappointment is definitely this guy though

Tempted to give him the Water Blessing simply to make SP grinding that much easier.
It's kinda sad to look at his stats because Eliwood got shafted hard here, but I'll turn him into an axe killer. If you suck at everything, might as well focus on a Crippling Overspecialization. Blazing Durandal doesn't seem like it'll help him much with 50 Atk but we'll see, it's certainly better than base Durandal. Does Heavy Blade take in account in-battle buffs and the weapon triangle? Because if so, then he's most certainly proccing that effect

Also, since I haven't seen discussion in the new chapters, I'll start by saying I actually liked how the story is going, it feels a bit disconnected to the previous chapters, especially since Bruno is MIA but I like Surtr even if he feels a little like Garon 2.0. Him, Loki and Laevatainn bring skme unique abilities in their weapons and oh god I want Loki's staff so much.
I also realised Laevatainn's sword is called Laevatainn too so... is she a living sword like Ghirahim or something?

Apparently, the after-image effect on Fjorm's animations is because of the water blessing so anyone that's given it will have the same effect. I haven't tested it myself yet but I'll give it a try

I mean, I hold no judgment toward those who play the game. Not at all. Hell, Fire Emblem has its share of "excessive" designs, so I'd be a hypocrite to judge.

Criticizing character design isn't the same as criticizing the game's player base.

People are so obsessed with the hideously bad bunbun girl that they legitimately can't discuss anything else about the game. Just like they're so obsessed with the hideously bad blade designs in general that they can't discuss anything else about the game.

I don't even like most of the Blade designs. They're awful. Absolutely awful. But more than that they've completely cannibalized every thread about the game on ResetERA to the point where literally no discussion about the game is left except complaining about them with the odd pervert stepping in to offer some bizarre defense. I keep hearing tidbits about interesting game mechanics, but they never get elaborated upon because there's another round of endless whining over the nasty perv show that frankly everyone earned by continually shoving their heads up their back ends about the first two games as they continue to do.

I came here for a break from reading those threads.

I'm just tired, and now I feel alone for just wanting to hear about literally anything else about the game.

The problem is that they don't look like people, they look like body pillows, and it's become legitimately impossible to discuss the game anymore because of them. I'm getting close to doing something crazy like spamming Nintendo's unrelated Tweets with complaints about it just because bunny porn has about broken my mind with all of this.

Nintendo needs to address this immediately.

I did some shard grinding while waiting at the doctor's, and I decided to upgrade my Clair's Slaying Lance+ with the Res upgrade. Def would probably be more practical but I wanted to see that super high Res stat. :V

Also she now has the same amount of HP as my Brave Ike, she's been eating her veggies.

Also I think the after image from the blessing looks really nice with her Glacies.

That's a good point, still though it would've been nice to have as a secondary option to it's Memories if anything.

Also after looking up the Z-Moves again I saw the new mythical doesn't have one either which is also surprising.

Urgh, like I said, since I am avoiding spoilers I won't post any Xenoblade Chronicles 2 news.
And it this Blade Kokoori and Tsuki are actually from the same artist...
But just one Blade that seems to drive people crazy... After the artstyle, Pyra, the things we usually see in other JRPGs are a huge issue for some people when it is in Xenoblade, a T rated game...
