Mantine Surfing? New Trail Captain? Pokedex upgrade?

Well its news. Not exactly fantastic news, but its better then saying nothing.

Aw come on, man. Most of us haven't surfed on Rays since Super Mario Galaxy.

Admittedly those levels werent my favorite, but still....

To be fair though, some Chinese animes are getting good reception. However, they basically look no different from Japan animes.

In my opinion I don't think it is wrong or odd that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 goes with anime style.
I remember Xenosaga used to have anime show before, I kind of hope they will release Xenoblade 2 anime someday.

Eh, I'm not really big on Mantine. Also I'm not buying USUM so its just irrelevant to me as a whole.

The two new UBs and Duskroc are my current interests (especially Janga Cipher my boy). Duskroc's exclusiveness is irritating but at least PS won't have that issue.

Why do I have the feeling that Team Skull will be absent in Ultra?

They aren't in that poster and haven't been seen anywhere else.

I still think SM's plot should have been about how Team Skull accidentally released the UBs on the Pokemon world and Guzma is all like "**** man, I just wanted to cause some trouble, I didn't mean to start the apocalypse"

I assume Mewtwo doesn't officially have a pokedex entry, but then why are the birds at Oak's lab?

Or clearly, Origins is canon and Red left them all there.

I also liked how mew was watching them after Rottom said that.

I think the more interesting thing to note is that the entire squirtle squad were at the lab.

It took them this long to confirm Trials are still here, and they're present at Melemele, the first island. Team Skull doesn't become really important until Ula'Ula, where you're introduced to Guzma and Po Town.

I'd say they're likely still in.

Either Rottom doesn't count legends, or Origins is the only possible canon explanation as we know red caught the legends in that. Or he's full of it, but that seems unlikely.

The squirtle squad is interesting as they didn't need to camo, but the fact they did is neat but strange as they have never lived on the lab grounds before.


In reality this whole scene was for references purposes in terms of completing the dex, but the quirtle squad was intentional considering they could have had any other squirtles show up.

It's weird.

I can already tell Mike Pollock is gonna knock it out of the park once again. The dialogue is cheesy, but the kind of cheesiness I love from this franchise.

Sonic Adventue 2 was the worst at that. All I heard when knuckles talked was "NO ONE STOPS KNUCKLES FEET"

That was a solid trailer for USUM. That Mantine Pokeride feature sounds fun. If it really is a minigame that lets you travel between the islands, that would be pretty cool! I'm willing to bet those new beaches that we saw on the updated Alola map are likely the places where the Mantine Pokeride stops are located.

I don't mind Trials coming back; it's nice that they are changing them a bit, like Mallow's new Trial having to do with interacting with Sudowoodos, Sophcoles's trial involving some kind of robot-Vikavolt, Acerola's trial getting a bit more dramatic (at least from that scene alone where she yells "get out" over and over), and Totem Salazzle being replaced with Totem Alolan Marowak. Nice to see that Mina is finally getting a trial of her own as well; not having a trial was something that she really suffered from last game. Hopefully, the trial will be a good one. I also speculate she will replace the village chief as the person who takes you to Exeggutor Island, because the way they zoomed in on her while she was on top of the boat was an exact mirror to the village chief's introduction.

Glad to see the Alola dex will be expanded. Now I really hope Gallade's evolution line will be among those newly added 100 Pokemon. If so, that will probably boost my chances of buying Ultra Sun. I'd love to have Gallade on my story team, not to mention I can see him and Gardevoir fitting perfectly on some story-relevant characters' teams (Gallade would fit perfectly on Gladion's team, while Gardevoir would fit perfectly on Lusamine's team).

Dusk Mane Necrozma is 3.8m tall and weighs 460kg (meaning it's double the weight of Solgaleo), while Dawn Wings Necrozma is 4.0m and 350kg (that is 230 kg more than what Lunala weighs).

Oh I havent gotten far in the leagues, mostly been doing battle aginst cpus, bit scared to go online pff

Camilla's Warriors Map in FEHeroes is amazing for SP Farming. I was finally able to get my little Caeda her Brave Sword+, her Darting Blow 3, Desperation 3 and Iceberg. She's no Elincia, but it's still good to have a usable Caeda(now I need to get her Reposition). I was also able to get my Nephenee all the skills I wanted to give her, so she's definitely ready for the new Tempest Trial. Same with Brave Ike. Either way, Camilla's Map is amazing for SP farming and the fact that it's the Double SP Weekend right now is also a great thing.

Also, I just realized why Monster Hunter and Black Panther are teamed up together in MvCI. Black Panther's motif is a cat. Hunters partner up with cat creatures called Felynes in Monster Hunter when going out hunting. So Monster Hunter with Black Panther is reminiscent of the Hunters' partnership with Felynes.
